Don’t Kid Around

Since the time she made her first appearance in the entertainment industry, Changed Talent (CT) had always dreamed of the role that would launch her. As her management saw her potential, CT was cast in various projects even in minor roles. However, her team did its best to make her name part of the consciousness of viewers. The projects for CT succeeded in making her name familiar.
One day, CT finally faced her dream. The management presented a project that fits her image and the role was indeed perfect. It was exactly what she had dreamed of, but then she shocked everyone by asking for more time to decide.
Allegedly, the time she needed was for the moment to inform her Secret Benefactor (SB), who happens to be a powerful personality. CT said that the role called for intimate scenes, kissing, and other actions that would make her role as a mistress as real as possible. SB shook his head and told CT to turn it down.
CT replied by saying that she can request the creative team to tone down the intimate scenes but SB would not agree. He does not want CT to kiss any other man even if it’s for the sake of a project and not a reality. CT is only allowed to kiss him and her boyfriend. Moreover, SB frowned at having CT continue to project her being a sex symbol. Besides, the offered role was too much of a coincidence in her real-life role in the life of SB. Just to stress his point, SB adamantly told CT to drop the project and he would double her talent fee for as long as she thumbs it down.
CT then weighed her options. On the one hand, her dream role was about to come true. On the other hand, she would lose the benefits of having SB in her life. Thus, she said that she would opt for a stagnant career as long as SB provides for her. Being with SB means she would not have to spend long hours taping and be tired from work.
The day came when she had to inform the creative team of her decision. CT was honest and direct when she informed the creative team that she would not accept the project. Predictably, CT was asked for her reason for turning down her opportunity, given that many talents are waiting for their break. CT responded and the creative team raised eyebrows with her reason. They were too shocked when CT said, ‘I am a changed woman.”

Dismissed Secret

When Versatile Celebrity (VC) introduced his Best Buddy (BB) to an important Family Member (FM), he finally felt a sigh of relief. For many years, VC and BB have been living a hidden life that has been the subject of speculations, but never has someone confirmed the depth of their friendship. Nonetheless, BB bonded with FM.
Similarly, when BB introduced his family to FM, his kids bonded and soon, all of them would be hanging out together. VC has been supportive to the family of BB to the extent of making sure the kids are enrolled in good schools. Meanwhile, BB valued his friendship with VC, as they have known each other for a long time.
With BB known to FM, he could finally have unlimited visits to the home of VC and not be questioned by anyone else. Rather than VC and BB meeting in a private pad somewhere in the city, the two could continue their bonding right at the home of VC.
One time, FM had to come home earlier than expected. He was not supposed to be home early, as he told VC that he has practices and plans with his friends for the night. However, FM was not feeling well and cancelled all his commitments for the day. As soon as he placed down his bags, FM went to the bathroom. To his surprise, he saw VC and BB having a bath together and closed the door.
VC and BB were shocked as they were naked, of course. Quickly, the two washed off the soap and dried themselves up. VC then went to see FM and told him that he and BB had just come from a sports event and they were just freshening up. What FM saw was nothing, VC further added. However, FM was too tired and slept off everything.
The following day, FM woke up wondering what he did witness the day before. He went to see VC’s assistant (VA) and asked about his schedule. VA said VC had no appointments and that he stayed at home. In other words, there was no sports activity at all. VA then asked FM why he was inquiring. FM then narrated what he saw between VC and BB. VA replied that VC and BB are like brothers and that they like to do things together. Moreover, FM should not think about it. Well, VA had to dismiss FM’s wondering and to avoid further questions that might lead to unscheduled confirmations. It's not for VA to say.
