Cut to the Chase

Every second chance has a cost. Whether for love or career, a second chance might not be as easy as one would think. However, everyone would grab an opportunity to love better or take care of one’s career more seriously.

The interest in reviving the past of Rediscovered Performer (RP) and Feisty Talent (FT) awakened fans who grew up watching the two do their antics. When RP and FT proved they still have chemistry, their fans were happy. For RP, being with FT means levelling up a stagnant career. For FT, anything can happen, including the opening a guarded heart.

One day, their fans realized that FT seems to be getting comfortable with RP. The assumption was that FT might be feeling something real for RP. RP, meanwhile, remained cool and reciprocated in his own way. Unfortunately, RP was merely riding with the tide, as he knew that being with FT professionally is good for his career. By contrast, RP’s personal life remains mysterious.

Rumors have it that RP is not really in love with FT and everything is just for show. Allegedly, his heart seems to belong to his career and someone else. FT is aware that RP might soon become a father, but the mother of his baby has agreed not to go public to protect the child and RP’s career.

This situation did not deter FT from posting sweet posts assumed to be for RP. Besides, FT knows that RP might not marry the mother and she might actually have a good chance at winning him back. RP remained cool until he had enough, and that happened with posts encouraging settling down for good. He’s not ready to commit now, as his career is on a second wind and projects are lined up. Sadly, RP sees FT as his best friend or the person he will not marry at all.
