Making A Way

“Be careful with what you wish for,” is a cliché that could describe many lives of celebrities who never thought they would be able to achieve much in a relatively short period. While many talents are still looking for the formula to achieve fame and fortune, Lucky Girl (LG) was blessed with something that no books could ever taught. LG had timing, as she was in the proper place and time, and soon, everything changed and she got her wish but the price was high.

One day, LG realized that her heart had taken so much bruising, as fans refused to let her be even behind the cameras. Her fans have become very aggressive in declaring who they want for and they would use all the powers of social media to make sure they express their demands. LG could only take so much and she confide to a showbiz Close Friend (CF) that she has gone tired of fans dictating whom she ought to love. CF could only listen.

When rumors became loud that LG was close with Funny Actor (FA), the fans started their demolition job and even involved the family of FA. LG was in love with FA, but he had to choose between her and his family, who had advised him to do what was right. Then, came Muscled Actor (MA), but he too had to choose his career over LG, as fans threatened to boycott his projects with the network. Next came Showbiz Scion (SS), who was highly educated and well-mannered. However, he would rather protect his child from the bashing of the fans of LG, and thus, nothing happened to them. Then, Network Talent (NT) tried his luck. NT and LG hit it off, but they could not be seen in public, as the fans were going berserk every time they were spotted together. Threats to NT became daily fare and he, too, was defeated.

With fans meddling in her personal affairs, LG has had enough. This time, LG found Ideal Man (IM). IM comes from a respected showbiz family and is known as a very kind and mild-mannered individual. He’s a gentleman and keeps a low profile. Competent in his field, IM also has his fans and a very supportive family and network. LG seems to have found the right guy and this time, she has decided to ignore her meddling fans and give IM a chance. Besides, IM does not care about what the fans say, as he seems to be fond of LG as well.

LG wants to make herself happy and for fans to accept that she and Reel Partner (RP) will never become real, as he’s really not into her romantically. No amount of pressure coming from their fans would make him fall for her, and LG has accepted that fact. Will IM be the one for LG this time or will fan pressure break whatever relationship the two are building?
