Close Call

When Network Executive (NE) needed to see Powerful Personality (PP), she came over to PP’s office. Before making major decisions, NE has to seek approval from PP and this time, the matter was urgent. As soon as NE entered the office, PP’s secretary stopped her and said that PP left word that she should not be disturbed. However, NE insisted given that her concern was needed to be resolved at that moment.

With allowing herself to be stopped, NE turned the door knob, walked in, and fell silent. NE realized that she had disturbed a little show that Hunk Talent (HT) was giving PP. In his briefs, HT was doing a sexy number in front of PP. As soon as he saw NE enter, he stopped gyrating, took his clothes, and dressed up in the bathroom.

NE realized what she had done and PP was still stunned as she had no idea what NE was thinking at that point. To break the tense moment, NE smiled and nonchalantly asked why she was not invited to the ‘show.’ PP, struggling for words, said that HT as rehearsing for a forthcoming project and his role was that of a macho dancer. PP just wanted to test if HT could do justice to the role. Business proceeded. NE raised her concerns and PP gave her approval. After a few minutes, HT left and the two executives acted like nothing happened.

Incidentally, the rumor of HT being the apple of the eye of PP seems to have reached his workmates. Although not the most talented in the show, HT seems to have longer and more exposure compared to the other more seasoned talents. HT even has segments with the more popular celebrities. Whenever he says something and the impact is not felt, A Co-Host (AC) would save HT with a witty line. Allegedly, the order from the top is to make HT look good in the show. AC and PP are good friends, and thus, AC knows how to salvage PP whenever he makes lame statements.

As to the production running the show, The Head (TH) could not do much and has assured PP that HT would not be embarrassed in the show. PP appreciated the gesture of TH. As influential people in the network, both TH and PP know each other’s secret affairs and even that of AC. Thus, they are simply making the best out of the situation.

‘I thought about how there are two types of secrets: the kind you want to keep in, and the kind you don't dare to let out.’― Ally Carter

Repost: Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are Engaged

Source: www.tmz.com

Justin Bieber popped the question to Hailey Baldwin Saturday night ... and she said yes!!!

Two eyewitnesses who claim to have seen the proposal go down tell us it happened at a resort in the Bahamas. They say everyone was at a restaurant on the property doing salsa dancing when Justin's security told everyone to put their phones away, because something special was about to happen.

We're told Justin then proposed in front of everyone.

Another source with knowledge of the situation also also confirmed to TMZ that Justin and Hailey did, in fact, get engaged Saturday night.

Justin and Hailey have been almost inseparable since they began dating about a month ago.  They're no strangers to each other ... they've dated before, and it appears they hooked up again just after Justin and Selena Gomez broke up.

Justin's dad, Jeremy, posted a photo of his JB Sunday with the caption, "@justinbieber proud is an understatement!  Excited for the next chapter!" Jeremy himself just got hitched a few months ago.

The Biebs' mom, Pattie Mallette, also seemed to confirm the happy news on Twitter, tweeting out Saturday ... "Love Love Love Love Love Love Love."

Repost: DSWD Investigates Case of Child Left in Car

A viral video showed a distressed toddler alone inside a parked car. The car’s engine was turned off, as the child was supposedly left by his or her parents to attend to personal matters.

“There is due punishment to this. If parents are found (really) at fault then we will have to get the child from them until such period that we will see that they are serious in taking care of the child,” DSWD Secretary Virginia Orogo said.

She pointed out that DSWD social workers have already talked to the child’s parents “to determine the degree of liability from leaving him alone.”

“I have asked our DSWD-NCR regional director and social workers to talk to the parents and see the degree of liability to the child,” she said.

“Why leave the child inside a car with its engine turned off? Even if the air conditioner is open, that is also dangerous to the child who can be suffocated,” she added.

Citing the Republic Act (RA) 7610, Orogo said neglecting or hurting a child can already be considered a child abuse. “When we bring the matter to the legal arena, I think our judgment towards the case is already up to the court,” she said.

RA 7610 or the “Act Providing for Stronger Deterrence and Special Protection against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination,” stipulates that child abuse includes words, action, deed, or any condition prejudicial to the child’s development.

The violation of this law is punishable by imprisonment.
