Kind of Devious

Photos in social media of Young Talent (YT) with older and established celebrities raised many eyebrows and questions. The most major of these queries was the motive of YT behind such photos. Allegedly, YT is trying another strategy to make sure she widens her network with more famous stars, which would consequently endear her to their own fan network.

As YT seems bent on getting ahead of everyone in her generation. Thus, her contemporaries have slowly shied away from her, as they could no longer stand her alleged hypocritical ways. However, such does not matter much to YT, as she wants to be on top and do everything in her power to develop and stay in her career. To get close to the older celebrities, YT usually introduces herself and they are accommodating because YT comes from a flagship project of the network. Then, she gives them gifts. For instance, Hunk Performer (HP) allegedly received expensive perfume and delicacies from YT. To his surprise YT even called him personally to ask if he received her gifts. HP was at loss as to how YT got his number.

At one point, YT visited Singer Host (SH), who did not recognize her. YT took it upon herself to make introductions. When photos with SH were seen, it seems that she and YT have a close relationship. Of course, such photos create interest among fans, who would then be curious to find out about YT.

Recently, YT asked the management if Celebrity Son (CS) could be her partner in an event. The management did not see any harm and gave permission. CS agreed and trusted the management. However, he realized his mistake later. After being seen with YT, CS has been bombarded in his social media account by her followers demanding he should court her. CS did not like this situation, as he allegedly has a non-showbiz girlfriend who might be affected by the moves of the fans of YT. Besides, he is a private person who does not want his life to be excavated by fans.

As time passes, YT is indeed making sure that she will be ahead of everyone else and nothing can stop her subtle ways.

Just Make Amends

When one enters a game, one should know and play by the rules, and not change the rules for personal reasons. Moreover, as one continues in the game, one should have the commitment to be a team player. When moments of dissatisfaction creep in, the interest of the team must prevail over one’s benefit. Unfortunately, Well-Recognized Celebrity (WC) decided it was time for her to unfollow the rules.

Since the time WC got a most coveted break, her career rose and along with her appeal came a long list of endorsements and appreciation from her followers. Everything that WC touched, mentioned, or even walked on became cherished and her fans wanted to emulate her. Knowing WC had the Midas touch, companies raced against each other to offer her endorsements. WC was on her way to achieving more than what any newbie could ever dream of in such a short period.

Fans liked WC because she provided the younger appeal in her projects. She was spontaneous and smart. In fact, her intelligence manifested in her capability to cope with the demands of her show, whereby she needed to match wit with seasoned performers. WC passed all the tests with flying colors and her popularity cut across generations.

Then, one day, WC did the unthinkable by hinting that she was tired and needed to go on break. Worse, she told fans to forget their dream for her and Engaging Performer (EP). WC unwittingly broke the rule of playing within the rules. She wanted her independence and freedom to be whom she wants, and not what other people would want for her.

Testing the waters some more, WC did the unthinkable and dropped EP from her social media. Fans are very nosy and when they saw what WC did, the online universe was abuzz with speculation on the motive of WC. EP was left hanging, and had no idea. When someone decides to play with a different set of rules in the same game, expect the team to question such action. If WC thought she could get away with her action, she got a dose of reality. The elders were not amused, and no less than One of Brains (OB) reprimanded her. When OB talks, mostly everyone listens, as his words are considered wise. Thus, WC had to make up excuses that her action was just another ‘I’m only human’ moment of making a mistake. For someone who is deemed intelligent, one doubts that is the reason, which makes her action very dubious.

As WC tries to make a name, she should be reminded that her career hinges on a set of rules and to try breaking such rules might lead to an abrupt end of her sought-after position. Besides, her career is not just for her own pleasure now that she has made a name; rather, it’s for the simple folks who have given her their hearts.
