Not Happy At All

While the publicity stunts made a big deal on the entry of Humbled Personality (HP) in a network, sources say that HP really wanted a quiet transition with no fuss. He simply wanted to do his work quietly. However, things did not turn out the way he wanted it, as the press coverage happened left and right. The welcome humbled him and everything seemed alright.

HP was well loved in his former station and everyone liked him because of his attitude. He was creative, level-headed, and amiable. Despite intrigues, HP remained positive and his colleagues loved him for such disposition. However, things changed and HP had to move on.

HP apparently found a home where he could exercise his craft with full support coming from the bosses and his colleagues. Thus, his project was given more publicity in such a short time than any other similar endeavor that came from the network. It seems that HP did not need to work harder to earn his slot in the network.

With the circumstance of a new player, not everyone took the arrival of HP positively. Apparently, someone leaked the information of the compensation that HP was receiving for his work. The amount shocked some of the home-grown personalities. For one project, HP was being paid at a rate that equaled their work for several months. The feelings of unfairness hovered, as they have never felt as much importance given by the management to HP even if they had brought home several national and international awards. Word has it that they felt insulted, and comments that describe the management as blinded by the looks of HP are making the rounds in the station.

As for HP, his mission continues and his focus is on his work. Besides, his positive attitude might immediately rub off on his new family and they will dismiss any envious feelings towards his presence. Moreover, the entry of HP increases the level of quality among the outputs of the department and assures viewers of improved feature stories.
