The buzzword these days is ‘being human.’ When a celebrity has had enough of the entertainment industry, he/she stops conforming, and realizes that he/she feels better in a world that has stripped him/her of his fame and image. While most celebrities would rather not take the risk of showing their true selves in public, others no longer care if the public catches their unguarded moments. Once their attention is called, they simply excuse themselves by saying, ‘I’m just human.’

Similarly, Famous Celebrity (FC) has taken his ‘being human’ attitude by succumbing to the other excuse, which is YOLO (you only live once). Despite warnings, FC has been indulging in activities that his management and handlers know would be detrimental to his career. Even though FC is enjoying a second wind of his career, he seems to have forgotten that his fame today is really his second chance.

FC was already given a warning that if he is unable to balance his nightly habits and his work, his career might just end abruptly. However, FC apologized and said that he will turn over a new leaf and work on his self-discipline, which means giving up most stuff people of his age often do to be with the in crowd. Specifically, that would pertain to giving up partying and vices, such as smoking and drinking.

Giving the excuse that he wants to enjoy his life, FC has gone back to his old ways. His management is already worried at his carefree attitude, which is affecting his commitments. After a night of partying, FC would usually miss out on his early morning commitments and if he does show up, he would look too haggard to be on air. His hangover often takes the most out of him. Sometimes, he would be too tired to rehearse, and thus, his numbers would be cancelled.

The management has observed that most of the friends of FC could hardly care for the next day, as they do not have as much work as FC. Hence, they can afford to drink to the brink and spend the next morning recovering from their hangovers. By contrast, FC has so many work commitments, and thus, ideally, should honor them the next day. Besides, his fans want to see as much of him, but if he keeps neglecting his appearances, he might lose everything that he has worked hard for as well as the projects his team has negotiated.

At the stage of his life, FC seems to give the impression that he would rather spend nights in merrymaking with his friends, and just go with the flow the next day. With all the projects lined up for him, the stubbornness of FC seems to prevail.
