A mark of success for a celebrity is the number of endorsements he/she has throughout his/her career. Usually, when a celebrity is tapped to be in the ad of a product, expectations are set to ensure the relationship between the celebrity and the product is beneficial. For example, the celebrity is expected to use the product. If the product is food, the celebrity should only be seen eating the food in public. Any instance that shows the celebrity using or consuming the competition can destroy the strength of the endorsement.
One word from a celebrity can definitely lead to skyrocketing sales, and sometimes, even shortage of the said product. Consumers are often persuaded with the actions of the celebrities in ads. Thus, consumption increases. A successful endorsement can actually place the competition uneasy and prodded to think of ways to outdo the success.
In the case of Certain Endorsers (CE), Their Product (TP) has led to a fashion statement, as the ads usually depict the fine side of life. Thus, usage of the said product is supposed to make the consumer feel highly of himself/herself. The good thing about TP is that the price is lower than the next competitor. The affordable price definitely led to more buyers and ensured its success.
However, there is a catch. According to the grapevine, CE does not even use TP. They would be shown with TP in ads, but in actual life that is away from the prying public, CE would use a different brand that is more expensive than TP. Apparently, CE is not happy with the feature of TP, which they claim has certain effects when it comes to moving. The image is really just for money and fame.
Moreover, some people in the CE team are classic examples of having beautiful outside features, but really awful personalities when the cameras are off. People they have worked with one of the CEs, can be very mean and heartless. Although she has a serene face, curses and screams are her favorite ways of addressing her staff.
