Whenever pregnancy rumors start gaining ground in showbiz, the question of the identity of the father tops the minds of the inquisitives. Then, the next reaction would border on questioning the status of the woman, ‘Is she married?’ Predictably, such rumors would take two roads. First, the said actress disappears for a few months and keeps mum on the reason why she would take a hiatus. If no baby is seen, tongues would assume she lost it. Correspondingly, if a baby emerges, the curious would want to know the plans of the said actress. Second, some actresses opt to flaunt their interesting stage. Several actresses have hired professional photographers to document their body changes every trimester until the big day.
On one hand, some actresses end up as single parents because the fathers cannot marry them for whatever reason. On the other hand, luckier actresses have the security of a stable marriage prior to getting pregnant. In these modern times, rare are such instances when marriage comes ahead of pregnancy in showbiz.
In the case of a Prized Actress (PA), a teleserye script could sum up her life story. When she met her Future Husband (FH), there was a meeting of minds and feelings, of course. As both of them were already old enough to make life changing decisions, PA and FH went through the typical process of getting married with an impressive wedding and sponsors, too. The couple was pleased with their decision to make a lasting commitment.
After the wedding, PA and FH were often teased that they should have a baby immediately despite being busy with their own careers. PA would not have minded taking a break to have a child. However, time passed and their fans have grown impatient and wondered what was taking them for so long to have a child. They have been spending time away from work and have not been subjected to any stressful situation based on news about them, except for the fact that the contemporaries of PA are married and already have children.
Thus, the couple finally decided to consult a specialist, who broke disappointing news. As far as FH was concerned, he was capable of siring children, and thus, he did have any problem. However, PA is the one in a fragile situation. In front of FH, they were told bluntly that PA has damaged part of her reproductive system, which could have been the effect of a couple of decisions she made during her youth. Now, when the time was right for her to have a child, it would be difficult.
Every cloud has a silver lining, and hope still prevails. They could still consult specialists who could help them conceive. PA could undergo treatment and if she does get pregnant, her situation would be very delicate. As they are still young, there is still time to pursue this mission.
