Look at Who’s Watching Your Back
A major star comes with hordes of fans, who will defend their idols with every tooth and limb they have. Not to exaggerate, but the current generation of fans is quick to react, always on the attack mode, and offers every possible defense to shield their idols from negative vibes. Several fans have no hesitation to make their presence felt in social media sites and the rabid ones resort to cursing and wishing ill those whom they feel have offended their idols. However, most fans remain critical and sincerely watch out for the interest of their idols. The fans of AC are no different, as they will protect AC from any circumstance they feel could be the rust in the iron.
As soon as AC was being positioned by her mother network, close personalities in her life started to position themselves as well. One of these personalities, Shrewd Entrepreneur (SE), has not escaped the eye of several fans of AC. SE has taken it as her responsibility to make sure AC’s interests are well served and that her needs are met. Thus, in the process of overseeing the appearances of AC, SE has made sure the fans know her well.
Nonetheless, several fans feel that SE has encroached AC’s position as well as that of fans. SE makes sure that she is in every event with AC. Particularly, she has to be with SE whenever the network sends the celebrity abroad for shows. While the goal of AC is to entertain fans, SE is doing her own entertaining of fans, as well. Allegedly, her friendliness with fans allows her to sell souvenir items, which are in partnership with other parties of interest. Second, given her access to AC, SE could invite curious fans for a private meet and greet with AC and Her Partner (HP). Fans could take photos with AC and HP. SE arranges such meetings as her way of thanking the various fans, whom she had contacted for her own shopping, sightseeing, and dining activities. This attitude has been noticed by fans, who feel that SE is taking advantage of die-hard followers of AC.
Incidentally, SE was a bit irked when HP entered the picture, as she felt he would distract AC from reaching her goal of ultimate stardom. Worse, she allegedly made a big deal that some fans of the AC-HP partnership only support HP. Despite all these questionable acts, AC has been shielded from finding out the deeds of SE. Given that AC is becoming older, it would only be a matter of time when she would realize that her own circle is turning-off people. At present, fans form the lifeblood of any artist. Without loyalty coming from a solid fan base, a career of a celebrity could end abruptly. In the case of AC, she should be mindful that the person who is supposed to be watching her back, has interests to fulfill at AC’s expense. .

Mercado–Richards Korean Drama Remake Put on Hold to Give Way to Richards–Mendoza Teleserye

Barely having any formal announcement, bashers started lambasting the alleged decision to pair off Mercado and Richards. Unfortunately, Mercado became the target of some overzealous fanatics who insisted on Richards being exclusive to his Kalyeserye partner, Maine Mendoza. Fans demanded that Richards should have a teleserye with Mendoza first before being partnered with any other female star. Thus, fans have spoken, the network listened, and Richards was dropped from the project.
At this point, the network could not find a suitable actor who could play the demands of the role of Do Min-joon, the alien who is nearly perfect as a human being. Allegedly, the rival network was asked if the station could ‘borrow’ Matteo Guidicelli. Of course, the Kapamilya network would not hear of such idea.
Although the name of GMA’s Ken Chan has emerged as among possible choices, the project has to be shelved for the meantime. As for Richards and Mendoza, the network and APT are cooking up their teleserye. This project is being tagged as the reason for the sudden ending of their Kalyeserye.

THE BUREAU of Immigration said on Saturday an investigation into Japanese actress Maria Ozawa’s complaint that her photos and passport were posted on Facebook by a BI employee showed this was not the case.
The BI said its records showed “Armee Camzon,” the supposed uploader of Ozawa’s photos, was not one of its 2,000 employees.
“Per records, the alleged Facebook user name Armee Camzon is not an employee of the bureau and could be a poseur,” the agency said.
The BI said it had not ended its investigation, as it stressed the incident was “isolated and the right to privacy of the BI’s clients is our paramount concern.”
A BI source said an outsider acting as a fixer or travel agent might have been responsible for uploading Ozawa’s photographs without authorization.
“It could be the handiwork of fixers working in the guise of travel agencies accredited to help foreigners and other clients,” said the source, who declined to be named for lack of authority to speak on the matter.
The source added that anyone could claim on social media that he or she was an employee of the BI.
The 30-year-old Japanese actress complained on social media upon discovering earlier this week that her passport and ID photos were going viral on the internet. A certain “Armee Camzon” who claimed to be an employee of the BI posted the photographs.
Camzon’s account has since been deleted but the photos of the popular Japanese actress went viral after Ozawa complained on Facebook. She said her right to privacy had been violated.
Ozawa is a former adult video actress who went by the name Miyabi, which gained for her a huge fan base in Japan and abroad. She has since appeared in a local movie and now runs a hotel bar near Manila’s international airport.

Kim Chiu has denied that she will soon reunite with her former boyfriend, actor Gerald Anderson, for a television project.
Speaking to reporters after receiving her EdukCircle Award on Saturday, Chiu said she has no idea where the rumors are coming from.
“Hindi ko nga po alam kung saan galing ‘yon eh. Kung sinu-sino na lang po, bina-bash na lang ako. Pero wala pa pong ganun,” she said.
Meanwhile, Chiu also denied that she is already a mainstay on “It’s Showtime.”
“Natutuwa din ako mag-'Showtime.' Hindi naman ako [mainstay] doon. Pang dagdag lang habang wala pa 'yung totoong host talaga. Natutuwa naman ako,” she said.
Chiu said she loves hosting the noontime program since she can show her bubbly side.
“Walang script so sorry medyo tatanga-tanga din minsan. Pero natatawa naman sila. Sabi ko my gosh napaghahalataan 'yung totoong IQ ko. Wala namang taong perfect. At least napapatawa ko sila, napapasaya ko sila,” she said.
Does she want to be part of it permanently?
“Siyempre oo pero gusto ko talaga umarte. Number one talaga 'yung acting, second 'yung hosting, dancing tapos last 'yung singing,” she said.
