Manipulating Her to Stay

The audience often follows a developing relationship when they could relate to the experiences of the celebrities who are falling in love. The teasing, courting, and even down moments are looked forward to because celebrities show their human side. These situations and the reactions of celebrities endear them more to fans. When Network Talent (NT) was matched with Female Discovery (FD), the management did not realize that the partnership would eventually turn to reality, which made their followers happy.

As NT and FD were being promoted as a loveteam, hours of being together allowed for moments of discovery. Soon, NT and FD had become close, and the network was supportive in encouraging their relationship. However, friends of FD were doubtful of the intentions of NT. After all, FD was far more popular and a potential star, whereas NT was just ordinary. Thus, their loveteam seemed to be more beneficial to NT than FD. Whenever someone is in love, like FD, no words from the closest of friends and even family could dissuade feelings. Disregarding words of wisdom from others, FD relied on her feelings and nurtured her relationship with NT.

Years passed and true colors were revealed. Exactly as what her friends had warned her, NT was not ideal. Given that they were both in the entertainment industry, NT could not dissociate professional from personal concerns. Instead of supporting FD, who was being entrusted with assignments left and right, NT behaved like a kid and expressed uncalled for negativity towards the career of FD.

Still, FD remained blind as she was too in love with NT, who could not care anymore. Rather than expand his understanding, he opted to remain narrow-minded and gave FD an ultimatum. However, before FD could make a decision, NT put his foot down and copped out of the relationship. As the development of their relationship was public, their fans felt sadness and disappointment, particularly at the attitude of NT.

While all seemed quiet and a resolution seems to have met a dead-end, rumors have it that NT had another ace up his sleeve. Allegedly, he planned to get FD into the interesting stage, so that she would not be able to completely avoid him. Thus, friends are waiting if NT succeeded with his plan, and if this alleged development would pave the way for their relationship to be ironed out as well. At this point, their fans are still optimistic that they would get back together and hope that both will be wiser if ever reconciliation happens.
