Amid the Kadayawan Festival celebration, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte on Friday announced that she is on her seventh week of pregnancy with triplets.

In a statement, Duterte expressed her gratitude to those who helped organize the Kadayawan Festival and explained her absence in public activities.

"I would also like to share with you the news that I am pregnant and cannot join you in the merrymaking activities," she revealed.

"We are expecting triplets and they are doing well on their 7th week. The human body is made to carry just one baby and I am experiencing threefold all the pregnancy symptoms that a woman goes through," the mayor explained.

She added that although she is having a hard time with the symptoms as well as the complications of a multifetal pregnancy, she will continue to do her job as city mayor.

"I will continue to work until I am allowed by the doctors to do so, however, I have been advised to avoid crowded places to lessen the chances of acquiring infections," she said.

"I maybe physically weak but rest assured that I am on top of the situation here in our city," Duterte reassured her constituents. — Trisha Macas/RSJ, GMA News

Think Creatively for Pleasure

The moment when Multitalented Celebrity (MC) met Skilled Actor (SA) at the set of the film they were making, she felt a tug in her heart. SA was tall, handsome, and talented. Regardless of the language difference, MC did her best to communicate with SA. The days they spent filming in a far-away location made them closer and when MC returned home, she was teased that she might have found love. Well, the teasing was on the right track because SA felt comfortable with MC, and thus, he showed her kindness and other qualities that could develop love.

After sometime, the public noticed the different sparkle in the eyes of MC and assumed the celebrity was indeed in love. When SA came over for vacation, MC made sure he felt the hospitality accorded to visitors. Moreover, given that SA is an actor, he was easily noticed by production teams. Taking advantage of the opportunity to work, SA made use of his time here. The time SA spent with MC, the deeper that their love developed.

When MC and SA admitted they were official, people were happy for them and wished the couple well. While others think that MC and SA are just a normal couple enjoying a second chance at love, others know of the secrets to their successful relationship.

Unlike the typical male, SA was not shy of his expectations when it comes to the confines of their bedroom. Lovemaking was not ordinary, every encounter had to be special. SA only has one request, and that is for MC to be in costume when they are making love. The characters MC have to play have no boundaries. MC could pretend to be a superhero, anime character, Barbie, etc. Other than wearing a costume, MC should also be in full make up to make the production value authentic. The various character portrayals excite SA, and thus, MC was assured of a high level of performance during their moments of intimacy.

While this add-on to their relationship is strengthening their bond, MC is sometimes stumped at thinking of which character to play next. Moreover, she has to spend money for her costumes. In addition, she has to hire a makeup expert to make her look as close to the character she wants to play. Whenever MC calls the expert and asks for full service, the expert knows that MC is up for another exciting night. Indeed, with the effort MC is exerting, she and SA are in for keeps.

HBO has officially stepped away from Manny Pacquiao. The Filipino superstar recently announced his return to the ring, and will take on Jessie Vargas on November 5th. This announcement didn't exactly light the world on fire, especially against such an unheralded opponent (though he is the WBO welterweight champ). But in an unexpected move, the PPV won't be distributed by HBO. Top Rank promoter Bob Arum confirmed that to Ring TV: "Definitely it’s not going to be HBO. HBO had a contract and decided to pass because it was two weeks in front of their Ward-Kovalev fight." While that is true, there's more to it. HBO has relinquished the rest of their contractual right to Pac's fights with this move.
