She Could Have Gotten Piqued
Despite all the positive words of the production team for gaining more attention for the Station’s Project (SP), loyal viewers are still wondering why a drastic change had to happen in the cast line-up. During earlier seasons, the cast of SP proved a hit with the audience, as indicated by the rising ratings and high views in various websites. Even social media was enlivened by trends and comments for the cast and SP. The mix of the lineup was perfect in gaining various types of viewers.
Then, viewers were surprised when a Cast Member (CM) was announced to have chosen not to join SP anymore. The void CM left was soon filled up with Phenomenal Star (PS), who seems to have adjusted to the spontaneity required by SP. While most viewers have accepted the cast, speculations on the reason that caused CM to opt out reverberate in social media.
Being part of a panel is not easy, as one has to be natural, quick, tact, and nurturing. Then, one has to make sure his/her statements would not be offending to contestants because viewers tend to be more sensitive and defend their bets by maligning the judge. However, when statements could not be sugarcoated, chances are someone will be affected. Compared with someone who is very articulate, CM opted to keep quiet and not engage any of her fellow panelists in discussions over talents. When one is offended, expressing disagreement calmly and in front of the camera is difficult. Although seeing CM become offended would have been interesting, such is not her image and she might ruin herself to her fans had she chosen to engage in discussion.
Adding to being offended at times, the lack of any of her bets ending in the last round disappointed her as well. Some may easily pinpoint the lack of votes as the culprit and blame the insufficient support of her fan base for the poor showing. Nonetheless, everything is now under the bridge and as far as CM is concerned, she would rather focus on other matters, such as nurturing love and threshing out her life’s direction. Finally asserting that one is an adult is indeed hard.
However, the entry of PS posted problems that needed to be addressed quickly. Given that the popularity of CM cuts across generations, PS has yet to expand her popularity as she has been away from the limelight for quite a time. Whereas mostly only the guardians of the contestants have faith in the reputation of PS, most contestants are at a loss as to the capability and mentorship potential of PS. Nonetheless, the presence of PS has been adding luster to the show, and sooner or later, she might gain the familiarity of the younger generation.

A Good Reason to Work Harder
One of the luckiest celebrities in the local industry these days is Lively Actress (LA). When LA started, she did not go through the usual start of being placed in the background in any of her shows. Immediately, her name was highly publicized to assure recall and to rid of remaining under the shadow of a more famous kin (FK). After her memorable stint in one network, which helped her hone her versatility in various genre, LA made the risky move to Another Station (AS).
In AS, the struggle was harder given that she had to distinguish herself from the other talents who have been in the roster of the network longer than she has been included. Thus, AS made sure she was noticed behind and in front of the cameras. Given her connections, LA showed behavior that made people notice and talk about her decorum. Next to the more seasoned talents, LA exhibited spontaneity and wit that sometimes bordered on offending the guests. Nonetheless, LA was given various projects one after the other, if not simultaneously. Still, the talk that FK was the alleged bargaining chip continued to reverberate as to the reason LA was getting her projects.
Unfortunately, circumstances proved that others had more clout than her camp. This year, people were surprised at the announcement that LA was out of a Big Project (BP). Homegrown Talent (HT) was then assigned to fill in the void. Although this decision could only be made by the management, rumors have it that Controversial Celebrity (CC) might have had a hand in the non-inclusion of LA in BP.
Sometime ago, LA and CC had a minor altercation that seemed to be just between close friends having fun. As their public posts were funny, the incident was dismissed by their followers. Well-mannered when called for, CC remained calm and continued with work or so the public thought. Allegedly, CC was offended to the point that he said he did not want to work with LA anymore. Between LA and CC, the latter was more important for BP. LA was out just like that. As consolation, LA was given another project, which was also in consideration of FK.
However, another story that was going around was that LA’s camp accepted an offer without informing the production team of BP. Of course, schedules will clash, and thus, the heads deemed to take LA out of BP. Nonetheless, LA has no idea of the reasons why she was no longer included. Allegedly, she feels really bad about her being taken out of BP and is irked at HT, who she believes had a hand in taking over her slot. After all, HT is up for a new project, which would give her a breather from all the acting that she has been doing.
Between LA and FK, people in AS could not help but compare the ways both talents conduct themselves. Whereas FK has proven her value for AS, as an excellent financial investment, LA has to prove her worth. Her shows and movies have yet to be convincing with the ratings and box-office, respectively. However, in terms of character, some would prefer to work with LA than FK.
