Cannot Reveal the Truth

Well, the thing is, YA has not really committed to anyone.
As OT felt cheated, he was so upset that he turned his attention to CH. He told CH that he and YA were more than friends and they were physically intimate. The commotion was getting to be noticed and the atmosphere was so tense that the chance for OT and CH to exchange blows was electrifying . Luckily, cooler heads intervened and a melee was avoided. In terms of size, OT was heftier and in case he did hit CH, CH had more to lose in terms of a damaged face.
With their reputation at stake, the talents could not afford a scandal, and thus, CH and YA had to fix the matter and allegedly paid off people not to say anything about the incident. This practice is not new, as other celebrities have been known to ask management to delete any proof of their misdemeanor. With the venue tainted with the confrontation and the possibility that OT might return, CH and YA decided to move to another bar. The new bar was quite a distance from their original date place and was frequented often by CH.
However, even at the new place, CH was still upset and YA was quite embarrassed. As their moods were getting in the way, CH was doing his best to charm YA and assure her things will be fine even if they have to date behind everyone’s back. CH was closely talking to YA because the bar was noisy and thus, it looked like they were doing something else. However, CH was too famous not to be noticed and soon people would stare at their table. After a few minutes, someone had the guts to approach him. CH, who was still upset from the previous incident, could not just adhere to the request. He would not be able to fake his smile, and thus, he turned down the favor. Unknowingly, the innocent response became the molehill that was turned into a mountain.

Showing Gratitude to Keep the Situation Quiet

Part of the history is the evolving attitude of some of these talents. When they were starting out, they were humble, kind, and grateful to their discoverers. The problem starts when these talents realize that their discoverers are not major players in the industry, which limits their job opportunities. Thus, either a well-connected manager pirates these talents or the talents themselves cut the relationship and seek the management resources of a network.
Many similar stories have emerged in the past years. Some stories are painful because famous talents do not at all want to be associated with their discoverer or former manager. Some believe that being linked to that past will not do good for their image, and thus, they discard people who have helped them like the way they change clothes. Not even a greeting nor a gift could these people expect from some of those stars.
However, not all stories of one’s past are sad. When Cute Talent (CT) started to be noticed in the industry, his career was being handled by His Manager (HM), who made heads turn. HM stuck by CT’s side despite all the misses early in the career of CT. Finally, when CT made it big, people thought he was like other talents, who would have discarded HM immediately. CT did not. Allegedly, HM is still part of the contract of CT, which means that he gets a small share in whatever CT earns. Because HM is low key and CT is a prized asset of a network, not much is heard of the former. To further keep the situation quiet, CT bought a home for HM. For those who know HM and his alleged relationship with CT, they fear that CT is sweeping the dust under the carpet. However, others think it was good gesture on the part of CT to show his gratitude to HM.
While this action might not seem controversial, a story is going around that there was something more to the talent-manager relationship of CT and HM. Allegedly, the two had a relationship and it was bound to be complicated, given the image of CT. HM is a transgender, while CT has a very straight image. Thus, if fans start finding out, the hard work of CT might not bear fruit anymore.

Repost: Comelec Division Disqualifies Poe from 2016 Presidential Race

In a 35-page resolution, the Comelec second division said it voted 3-0 in favor of the petition filed by lawyer Estrella Elamparo, who is seeking the cancellation of Poe's certificate of candidacy for president.
The division sided with Elamparo's argument that Poe failed to meet the 10-year residency requirement mandated by the Constitution for a presidential candidate.
"Wherefore, in view of all the foregoing considerations, the instant Petition to Deny Due Course to or Cancel Certificate of Candidacy is hereby granted," the division said in its resolution.
"Accordingly, the Certificate of Candidacy for President of the Republic of the Philippines in the May 9, 2016 National and Local Elections filed by respondent Mary Grace Natividad Sonora Poe Llamanzares is hereby cancelled," it added.
The members of the division are Commissioners Al Parreño, Arthur Lim, and Sheriff Abas.
Poe's running mate, Sen. Francis Escudero, confirmed that she was disqualified by the Comelec second division, saying he received the information 10 minutes ago, but did not provide additional details.
The Comelec division said Poe, who was leading in various pre-election surveys on presidentiables, became a resident only on July 2006 when she applied for dual citizenship, or two months short of meeting the 10-year residency rule.
The division also said Poe "deliberately attempted to mislead or misinform the electorate or hide a fact from them when she supplied the answer '10 yeras and 11 months' to the question" on her period of residence in the Philippines in her COC.
Meanwhile, Poe's lawyers insisted that she became a resident in May 2005, according to a report on "24 Oras."
Poe's camp said they will appeal the decision with the Comelec en banc.
Elamparo's petition was just one of the four petitions seeking to disqualify Poe from the presidential race.

Could the mayor and presidential aspirant have gone too far with his jokes?
It seems not even Pope Francis is spared from presidential aspirant and Davao City mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s characteristic cursing.
During PDP-Laban’s formal declaration of him as their presidential candidate on Monday, November 30, Duterte made the leader of the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics the object of an expletive.
As he was wrapping up his speech during political party PDP-Laban’s declaration of his presidential bid, he began talking about the time it took him 5 hours to reach a mall from his hotel while in Metro Manila last January.
What caused the delay? Traffic jams in the mega-city due to the visit of Pope Francis that month, he said.
Maintaining his joking tone, Duterte said, “Gusto kong tawagan, ‘Pope putang ina ka, umuwi ka na. ‘Wag ka nang magbisita dito. (Pope, you son of a bitch, go home. Don’t visit here anymore.)”
Some people in the audience still laughed but it was more subdued than after his other jokes.
Pope Francis, who visited Metro Manila and storm-stricken Leyte province last January, is well-loved among Filipinos – a majority of whom are Roman Catholic.
Hours after he uttered those remarks, he told Rappler in a phone conversation, "It was not intended to attack the Pope."
He said his anger was directed at the government for causing too much disruption to people's lives through their handling of the papal visit.
"I was expressing my exasperation with the government. It's okay to receive visitors but you don't impose hardships on the people," he said.
But the presidential aspirant said he would not apologize for his statement.
Duterte is known to pepper his speeches with expletives. He uses them when describing both his professed enemies like drug lords and abusive policemen, but also when referring to close friends, as a joke.
