Coming to Her Rescue

One’s handlers would only want the best for their celebrity. Thus, to make sure that a celebrity maintains his/her ranking and visibility, certain strategies have to be implemented. If the handlers are not alert, their celebrity might just be overshadowed by the tough competition among talents these days.
When Young Actress (YA) got her big break in the network, the public realized that YA was bound to dominate the network given her acting talent and mass appeal. For a time, YA proved the network right by establishing her position in showbiz. YA was praised for her acting as well as box office draw. It seems no one could rival the popularity of YA.
However, times became exciting when the network started exploring other options, that is, the network started signing up other young stars. While the network has a wide range of resources, in which it could handle as many stars without sacrificing any one, the entry of these young stars was deemed as a threat by YA’s camp. With the rivalry within, fans generated interest by trying to outdo each other. Meanwhile, the young stars, with YA included, stayed focus and worked.
Apparently, this situation also made the camps of the young stars more alert in terms of placing one ahead of the other. The competition was subtle, as the network was the one who had the final say in terms of which talents to push.
Since YA has been in the business longer and has proven her appeal, there was no doubt that she should be ahead of everyone else. However, people started to notice that other talents seemed to be taking a bigger share of the pie and thus, everything seems to become equal. Thus, there was a possibility that YA would be on equal footing as the others, which was viewed not fair by her camp.
The question of how to distinguish YA from the pack puzzled her camp for a while. Finally, Her Strategist (HS) thought of a grand idea. HS spoke to the handlers of YA and requested that a title be appended to her name when she is introduced in any event. In that way, YA would have a certain distinction. Well, count on HS for ideas to keep YA’s career afloat, after all, HS and the rest of her camp only want the best for her.
‘What we need to do is always lean into the future; when the world changes around you and when it changes against you - what used to be a tail wind is now a head wind - you have to lean into that and figure out what to do because complaining isn't a strategy.’ -Jeff Bezos
