Some good things are not meant to last. When a closely-knit group of talents found themselves at the end of their network contracts, the members decided not to be tied up with any station. While their fans expressed sadness over the fact that they might not be seen as often, the group took the time away from the limelight to attend to more important matters, such as raising their families.
As time passed, the group did not seem to be in a hurry to sign up with any network. The intrigues died down and fans keep abreast via social media accounts. Just as the public was anticipating the talents were going to sign up with one station, the group decided to reinvent themselves as a unit. Producers decided to gamble and hired the group for a show.
The concept of the show was to present the members of the group in everyday situations. The actions were supposedly non-scripted and conversations and actions were captured as they unraveled. The first season went well, even though the audience was limited as not everyone had access to the station that aired the show. As people were interested, the first season rated well and the show earned good feedback, which was enough for a second season.
As always, the group was natural and interesting, but such format was not one that local audiences are fond of and will continue to watch. Although the group has many controversial issues that could be potential reasons for watching the show, these topics did not come up. Still, the second season was good enough for a next season.
Now, the bad news. Allegedly, advertisers were not as interested now as compared to the previous seasons. Worse, the budget has been depleted, which resulted in unpaid compensation for the production crew. Due to the limited budget, no food is allegedly provided for the crew during taping. The talents bring their own meals and actually eat in front of the crew. As talents, strictly speaking, it is not their responsibility to fend for the production. However, when the staff had an emergency, they tried to approach one of the leads. Sadly, this talent allegedly talked in her usual fashion and told them to go to the producer to borrow whatever they needed, and not from her. Although the crew tried to knock at the goodness of her heart, they were met with a closed solid door.
