Contradicting Actions of the Young Actress

Often, viewers believe what they see on the screen as the actual behavior and sentiment of celebrities. Fans then think that the image they have seen reflects the truth, and from that point onwards, they make conclusions on the personality of the celebrity. Thus, a celebrity who projects a sweet image is expected to be sweet even when there are no cameras. A celebrity who plays the role of the villain will always suffer from the image of being a snob. In reality, sweet celebrities are sometimes the ones with uncalled for rudeness, whereas, actors who play villains are really nice when they are seen in public.

A few weeks ago, Giddy Personality (GP) found herself taking flak for her uncalled for reaction to an incident involving Network Celebrity (NC). As GP was delivering a spiel about NC, she seemed to be giggling at what she was saying about NC. NC could only smile at the reaction of GP even though everyone knew the pain he has gotten himself into. Instead of projecting sympathy, GP projected a behavior that turned off viewers.

Contrary to that image, GP is behaving opposite of the mocking image she allowed the cameras to capture. GP was allegedly the first to inform the parent (TP) of NC of what happened. Incidentally, TP has a soft spot for GP, as they bonded together a few years ago. Despite what happened to GP and NC, TP has always preferred GP over other significant others NC considered.

During the stay of NC at the hospital, flowers and fruits were brought to his room. These gifts were told to have come from his fans, but the truth was that most of them came from GP herself. Unknown to most, GP is updated as to the status of NC. Her connections have even kept her updated as to the actions and the happenings in the life of NC.

While GP had an emotional ride with NC in the past, some feelings have remained. However, the situation now is quite complicated, as NC has managed to ruin the friendship of GP with his former partner. Career-wise, GP returning to NC might not be an action that her fans would like. After all, fans think she will end up with her current screen partner. Nonetheless, if love decides to make a comeback, then no one can stop the feeling.

Manila Speak Covers 'Fashion Pulis' Controversy

Count on an entertainment blogger to convert a court order to a cause for celebration. Michael S. Lim aka Fashion Pulis was charged with Libel in a case filed by actress Deniece Cornejo due to a blog post that leaked a medical report that said that Cornejo may have a sexually transmitted disease. Lim was arrested by the Philippine National Police (PNP) Women and Children Protection Unit around 11:30 am last Tuesday and then held at the Criminal Investigation and Detention Unit (CIDG). But Lim turned the arrest into a party. The CIDG was the winner in this case as Mc Donalds sent Lim dozens of packs of food.

Later, other supporters of Lim also sent support. His post on his Instagram @fashionpulis read: “Thank you to all my visitors yesterday at CIDG-WCPU. Thank you achi @lenalonte for the Yellow Cab, @mcdo_ph, @willinchan and @winniechuago of @readytogo, @chefflorabel for the beef salpicao, chocolate and #Hermes twill, #eduardtolosa for the fried chicken. Thank you to all who sent your SMS/messesages. Feel so loved@ To all my haters, thank you also for the effort. HAPPY :-)”

Lim was featured on TV Patrol last night and he even plugged it. And as he left the CIDG after posting P16,000 bail, he even posted his #OOTD (Outfit Of The Day): an Alexander McQueen shirt, Hermes belt, Uniqlo pants and a Goyard tote.
