Another Sex Scandal

Perpetrators are often much older and experienced than their victims, and in most situations, are even in a position of power over them, making it near-impossible for their victims to complain. Others justify the act as a culture of acceptance, one major flaw why sexual harassment thrives.
It is acknowledged that it takes learned and courageous victims to nail their harassers and report them to authorities. Just like what happened to a Media Personality MP – the victims’ supposed mentor who in the end, turned out to be their tormentor.
The popular and sometimes controversial MP is quite fun to be with at work. MP cracks jokes to anyone he fancies, even towards their company’s girl OJT’s (students who do on-the-job training in various companies).
MP took a special liking to a group of OJT’s and became chummy with them. The girls took it kindly and without malice as they believed it was just in MP’s friendly nature. In fact, insiders quipped that the OJT’s even felt privileged to be under him.
One day, MP, on the pretext of finishing a project, urged three (3) of the OJT’s to have the said project finalized in a hotel. Although confused and a bit hesitant, the girls reportedly gave MP the benefit of the doubt and proceeded as told.
At the hotel, they were shocked when MP reportedly told them to undress. At that point, they were so scared of him and felt utterly helpless. To make it short, the evil in MP succeeded.
But he never knew what was coming – his victims would retaliate.
The OJT’s wasted no time and two (2) of them reported the rapist MP to their parents. When confronted, MP allegedly wanted settlement of Php 100,000 to each of the girls. But the aggrieved parties stood their ground and would not settle.
Network bosses made a decision while investigation is being done. MP went on leave. News blackout!

TGIF: Thank Goodness I’m On Fire

Exotic Beauty EB and Popular Boyfriend PB had been longing for a much-deserved vacation to get away from their busy lives in the city. Thus when their schedules permitted them for it, the couple headed to an Exclusive Hideaway EH for a much-anticipated respite.
EH seemed like a vacationist’s haven for the couple, serene and very private where they were not pestered by photo-seeking fans. Owing to the ritzy image of EH, the place certainly gave EB and PB so much fun and bonding time together.
Thus EB and PB wasted no time and explored every nook and cranny of the place. On their first day, they had the best time as a couple…perhaps, feeling like they missed each other terribly. Just how much did they miss each other?
On their first day, the couple reportedly forgot themselves for a while thinking that they had the whole place alone for themselves. Some guests from neighboring rooms heard moaning and strange noises during the night and early mornings, coming from EB and PB’s room. They were so loud that some kids who were out playing wondered what the noises were all about.
Some kids allegedly asked their elders about it. Soon they realized that they were coming from that particular room, unknowing that inside were celebrities EB and PB.
The noise sounded like rough and wild, like a girl was being beaten, coupled with a lot of moaning thereafter. The guests allegedly found it disturbing, if not too scandalous to ignore that they decided to report the matter to the front desk, with a request to tell the room’s occupants to tone it down.
Unfortunately, it seemed that the front desk staff were not able to relay the matter to the couple as the noise still persisted. The following day, the said guests got the shock of their lives when they saw EB and PB happily emerging from that room!
Were they speechless? You bet!

Aljur Abrenica Complaint an 'Unfortunate' Incident, GMA Network Says

Actor Aljur Abrenica's petition for the rescission of his contract with the network is an "unfortunate" incident, the company said in a statement issued Tuesday.
The following is the full statement of GMA network on the matter:
"GMA Network received yesterday the complaint filed by Aljur Abrenica for the rescission of his Management Contract and exclusive Network Agreement. Our lawyers will review this and answer accordingly in court.
The Network considers this incident very unfortunate because GMA has greatly invested on Aljur, who is one of its prime artists.
GMA Artist Center has not been remiss in its duties as his manager, practising a consultative style of management with Aljur. With his best interest in mind, this practice has accorded him every opportunity to personally assess all offers to reach a mutual agreement.
GMA Network has equally given him projects, some of which were lead roles in the Network’s primetime programs.
Aljur is a home-grown GMA talent who was discovered through the reality search, Starstruck, in 2007.
Since then, he has been given numerous projects including Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?, All My Life, The Last Prince, Machete, Coffee Prince, Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko and Kambal Sirena.
Likewise, GMA Network and GMA Artist Center have arranged major endorsements and corporate partnerships for Aljur.
The Network considers this incident very unfortunate because GMA has greatly invested on Aljur, who is one of its prime artists.
GMA Artist Center has not been remiss in its duties as his manager, practising a consultative style of management with Aljur. With his best interest in mind, this practice has accorded him every opportunity to personally assess all offers to reach a mutual agreement.

He said he decided to file the complaint because he believes his career plans are "not aligned" with the company's plans for him. Abrenica added that he does not have any offer from other TV networks.
In an earlier statement, GMA Network said it "does not release its talents from their existing contractswithout a valid cause or basis."

For close to two (2) years or more, she had no regular projects which disappointed her followers as Melissa is one of Star Magic's talented stars.
Very rarely, she would appear on television shows, then disappear, never to be heard again for a long time. Each time she gets spotted in public or on tv, people couldn't help but noticed her expanding body size which was getting to be quite alarming. On television, her size gets magnified by the ruthless screen several times more.
Understandably, her fans get disappointed, not knowing where their favorite star's career and/or personal life are headed to. Until a confirmed report came that the erstwhile sexy actress is now pregnant with her non-showbiz boyfriend!
