The Lurking King
Reportedly, the Indignant Wife IW was often heard hurling invectives at her Better Half BH for all that befell their family.
The nervousness and paranoia of the IW is not without basis. She constantly fears for her and the future of her big family. The other family members are reportedly as troubled, too. People privy to the family said it is hard to mask and sugarcoat the real situation in the domestic abode.
One night, BH arrived home and he saw that IW was already home ahead of him, and as expected, both engaged in harsh talk that ended in shouting match again. Reportedly, IW was unstoppable, talking to BH at the top of her voice. BH could not take it anymore and hurriedly left his mad wife.
The following scenario seemed like taken out from an FPJ movie of long ago.
BH decided to go to the house of his paramour, Sexy Actress SA to cool off and take the heat out from IW. Not long after, inside the house of SA, they heard a voice outside, shouting and cursing. They learned later that IW followed BH, and was so aghast to find out that he and SA were together.
The shouting continued demanding that BH come out but BH did not. But IW seemed like possessed by some spirits, she went on shouting unprintables at BH, getting louder every second. BH could no longer take the embarrassment and decided to come out from hiding and showed himself. The furious IW – just like in the movies again - demanded that her BH go home asap.
Allegedly, IW is consumed by all the negativities that she had to face everyday. On the personal aspect, overheard that it is insecurity that is eating IW up a lot. The reason why she took to gym workouts to at least help keep up with the competition.

Richard Yap’s outburst stemmed from FP’s swipe at him via a blind item which said that he took advantage of his fans’ generosity by making parinig on his Twitter account about the gadgets and gifts that he would want to receive. Richard Yap answered the blind item by saying:
“I’ve heard that and if you can go through all my tweets ay wala akong hinihingi sa kahit na kanino. As much as possible ‘pag me nagsabi na ‘what do you want?’ ang sinasabi ko ‘you don’t need to bring anything,’ At saka lahat ng meron ako ay meron na ako nu’ng hindi pa ako pumasok ng showbiz. ‘Yung bahay ko, ‘yung mga kotse ko… Hindi ako nagba-brag. When I was still in kindergarten ay may Rolex na ako so I don’t have to ask from anyone and kaya kong trabahuhin lahat ito. Sa tingin ba niya, ang binibigay ng fans ‘yun lang ang ano ang gusto kong hingin sa fans?”

Nowadays, the profile of movie fans has drastically changed. From merely screaming their lungs out, they now have money to burn anytime they wish. Truly, they have evolved big time.
Now equipped with the purchasing power, fans go the extra mile of giving their idols 'big' gifts to show their love and to make their idols remember them. Today's fans who buy these gifts like pricey gadgets (camera, laptop, cellphones) guitars, and even furniture and household appliances are becoming more commonplace than unlikely.
It is also for this reason that some stars abuse their fans' generosity. We know of a then neophyte but now a popular young actor who used the social media to insinuate to his fans and followers what gadget he so desperately needed that time. Such that when he went for a show abroad, he was shocked to wake up to rows upon rows of gifts from his fans waiting for him in the hotel lobby – his dream gadget included – and more. How cool is that?
Cute Heartthrob CH did not foresee his dizzying fame coming. He had no inkling that his charm and good looks would bring him awesome perks so soon. CH is pursued everywhere he goes, even abroad. CH's fans are aware that CH's Relative CR acts as his personal assistant (PA), a very hands-on one at that. Apart from the usual responsibilities of a PA, CR takes charge all of CH's other concerns like what he should wear to every event he goes to, what food he should eat, etc.
But what turns off his fans and followers is that CR discriminates who to prioritize in having photos taken with CH. Even if a fan comes ahead of the others but has no gift for CH, he/she will go disappointed. Reportedly, CR prioritizes only those who bring gifts for CH to have photo opportunity with him. How enterprising!
So if you are a truly a fan of CH, do not leave home without bearing gifts or you will be yanked away.

Hypocrisy or Honesty?

Their paths recently crossed when FA was doing the usual rounds of promotions and TP was doing her weekly production number. When they saw each other in the Ladies’ Room, FA greeted TP first. TP smiled back and it seemed all was well. Perhaps, the meeting was awkward, but as players in the industry, both knew how to deal with fellow colleagues politely in the network.
After a few minutes, FA thought she was already away from prying ears, when she said something that surprised the unwilling listeners. FA expressed her surprise that TP was back as a regular in the show, and then, she nonchalantly asked if that were the result of TP not having any other project for the network. Those who heard the remark of FA thought it was callous and uncalled for. However, wasn’t FA merely expressing the truth?

Nikki Gil Gives Scathing Account of Billy Crawford's 'Inconsistencies'

Nikki Gil regrets that her relationship with former boyfriend Billy Crawford lasted five years, saying she chose several times to ignore "warnings" of the singer's supposed indiscretions.
While she still did not specify the cause of their breakup in July, the 26-year-old actress brought up instances when she had been suspicious of Crawford's behavior during the relationship.
"I'm sure we had our good times, but at this point, I honestly can't remember any," Gil told Cosmpolitan's Krizette Chu in the magazine's December 2013 issue.
"Now everything is questionable to me. It's rushing back to me how [inconsistent] the timeline was. When he did this... but then may bawi," she said.
Gil recalled "always getting a lot of warning, but I chose to ignore them."
"I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that it could be done to me. I'd ask him, 'Why were you [at this place]?' Then, I'd back off and say, 'Nevermind, I was just asking.' You just brush it under the rug, until one day, it all blows up in your face," she said.
Third party?
At the time, the actress said she ruled out the idea that Crawford could do anything to hurt her. "Para sa akin, mabait naman ako, they can't do this to me. Imposibleng kakarmahin ako, or that life will slap me with this, 'diba? But no, it did."
In his first interview following the breakup, an emotional Crawford said it "all boils down to me," and that he was "lost and confused." Rumors later surfaced, romantically linking him to actress Andi Eigenmann and TV host Coleen Garcia.
Crawford denied being involved with either woman. Eigenmann and Garcia, in separate interviews, also denied having romantic ties with the "It's Showtime" host.
While she has refused to address the allegations of a third party, saying "it is not my story to tell," Gil, in her Cosmopolitan interview, alluded to the topic.
"I'm a woman and I protect what's mine, I don't touch what's not mine. If I were the kind of girl [who'd steal a boyfriend], I'd understand completely, but -- I cherish those things," she said.
No sex until marriage
When the topic of her preference to only have sex after marriage was brought up, it being a possible factor in the breakup, Gil said, "O, sige, 'yan na ang kapintasan ko!"
"Peope have said, 'Eh, kasi, lalaki. May pangangailangan.' My point exactly! See? Kung 'yan lang pala ang issue, [he didn't really deserve me]. Nobody told me to stay a virgin, or because I'm a stuck-up prude na holy-holy. It's my choice," she said.
"I've always been ma-pride. If sex is something I value, [gano'n talaga]!"
On whether Crawford ever protested to the idea of not having sex until they get married, Gil said, "That's the thing! Hindi! He'd always say, 'Push! I'm proud of you!' And I'm like, 'Wow, you're so understanding naman.' 'Yun pala..."
Why 5 years?
Gil said she feels relieved to have discovered certain things in their relationship, adding that it saved her from agreeing to marry him.
"Thank you, people around him, for causing this to happen, because if it didn't, it would have lasted longer," she said. "The scary thing, knowing what I know now, is I would have said yes to his insincere offers of marriage!"

But the "Maria Mercedes" actress lamented that it took too long before she decided to end the relationship, saying she missed out on some experiences as a young adult.
"My only regret? Why five years? Why not three? Or two? After five of my formative years, my early twenties, when I should've been having fun -- I feel like I'm back to square one!
"With everything being said to me now, I'm like, 'Dude, you couldn't have told me during year three? I reached a point na, 'Ano'ng nangyari sa'yo, girl? Inaapakan ka na!'"
Admittedly, the onset of the separation left her "broken," especially because of "how easy it was for him to just let go."
But Gil said she is now gladly turning a page. She has admitted dating again, and is only happy to be scoring endorsements after product endorsements. She also happens to be the star villain of a primetime soap.
"Everything that's happening in my life, whether it's something I imagined or something I didn't see coming, is just part of a grand plan," she said.
"There are so many other possibilities for each impossibility that I face, and the best thing is, for the first time in long, long time, I'm faced with all these possibilities again.

At the memorial service for Nelson Mandela today, Michelle Obama was photographed looking not amused with her husband and his friendly relationship with the blonde prime minister from Denmark, so much so that she may have switched seats with him. A lot of that is us reading and creating some magic presidential fan-fic, and part of it stems from people finding something fun from the very serious event.
Let's be clear right now and say the faces Michelle Obama makes — and whether they're directed at fair-haired PM Helle Thorning-Schmidt — was not the most important thing to happen at the Mandela service today. But it was kinda fun. That said, here's our completely unscientific analysis and explainer on Gucci-Gate:
'Gucci Helle' a.k.a. Helle Thorning-Schmidt
Until today, many Americans probably did not know who Thorning-Schmidt is. She is, in fact, the prime minister of the majestic country of Denmark and has held that position since October 2011. According to the BBC, her gender wasn't really harped on during her campaign or election season, but people seemed to notice that she had a taste for expensive things. The BBC explains:
While her gender may not have been hugely significant in the campaign, her stylish appearance and taste for designer clothes have come under fire as being inappropriate for the leader of a traditional workers' party, earning her the nickname Gucci Helle.
Gucci Helle sounds like the name of Gucci Mane's sister from a different mister, who may or may not walk around in mink coats. But, alas, Thorning-Schmidt does not appear to be a rapper.
The Selfie Shade
The first appearance of Ms. Obama's apparent annoyance with Gucci Helle was captured when President Obama, Prime Minister David Cameron, and Thorning-Schmidt all took a selfie together (I do not share the beliefs of my misinformed colleague Philip Bump, this is a selfie):
Michelle Obama is not making eye-contact here. But she could just have been paying attention to the memorial service, which is what our mothers have taught us all to do when you're at a memorial service for one of the most respected men that has ever walked the earth.
Gucci Helle and President Obama's Touchy-Feely Relationship
Fine, fine, maybe Michelle wasn't throwing shade while three world leaders who command armies and people and things decided to act like 16-year-olds with their phones. But it's a bit harder to explain the shade and side eye and not fun Michelle was having when Gucci was making jokes and petting her husband:
Michelle is looking annoyed there for very good reason — funeral programs, even in Mandela's case, are not very interesting. Nor do they need to be explained. And it looks like that Gucci Helle is asking a question like, "So when are you speaking?" or "Who's that guy?" or "What's that guy's name?"
Gucci Helle runs part of the world. So does Obama. There is nothing on that program that a woman who runs a country wouldn't know the answer to. There is nothing on that program that Barack Obama wouldn't know the answer to either. It is not an instruction manual to the Malm Ikea bed, it is a program that you read that tells you what time and what people are speaking:

At this point, Gucci or Obama may have said something funny. And both are now laughing or at least smiling politely. Again, Michelle Obama's side eye here could be because she doesn't think jokes are appropriate at Nelson Mandela's memorial service. Or she knows that nothing in a funeral program, or a joke about a funeral program, or a joke about a dignitary named in the program is that funny. Michelle still is not amused:
But maybe this is a funny joke about David Cameron? Anyways, that's three or four shots of Michelle Obama looking mildly irritated that a lady is speaking or flirting with her husband. If this were done at a real-life party, Michelle Obama would have asked Barack to grab her a drink and then started conversation with Gucci Helle herself and put her body in between the Gucci and Barack — it's a switcheroo or a bait and switch. A flirtation buffer of sorts.
After President Obama left, when Michelle Obama saw the opportunity to pull off the switch. Here's Michelle cordially engaging Gucci, daring Gucci to test her Danish sense of humor on someone her own gender:
