During dinner with friends, the mobile phone of Handsome Lothario (HL) kept ringing. The ringing became so annoying that his friends noticed he was bothered. HL stood up, excused himself, and moved away to answer the call.

When HL returned to his friends, they wondered who was on the line to make him leave their table. HL kept his cool and tried not to say anything. The friends started guessing and they figured out that only a woman could make any male leave his friends to answer a call. HL gave them the look of affirmation that his caller was clingy and jealous. They then learned Clingy Girl (CG) was the one on the line.

Of course, HL’s connection to CG is a secret. Both their lives are complicated. They are coming from various relationships that started well until time proved infidelity to be real. Hence, they separated from their lovers regardless of undergoing the usual ceremonies.

HL has a reputation of being attractive to ladies, and CG might have fallen for his charm. If HL reveals he is entertaining a woman, the public will not be surprised. By contrast, an admission of CG having a relationship with HL in particular might not be taken lightly by her family. Hence, CG might deny any connection with HL.

CG comes from a family that has an admirable reputation, which they protect and build up through interactions with the public. Given HL’s reputation, her family might become overprotective and put their foot down this early to make sure CG will not suffer a heartbreak. However, their unica hija’s happiness will come first.
