Expressing ideas, sharing insights, endorsing products, and responding to queries are activities that fill up a celebrity’s social media account. Celebrities risk exposing their private lives to the public and scrutiny. While others receive praises and good wishes, many are victimized by tactless and rude bashers and trolls. Nonetheless, social media has bridged the talent to his/her loyal fans.
A true fan is someone who has consistently followed a talent in his/her professional and personal undertakings. Such a fan can notice if something does not fit or is off with his/her idol. However, asking directly a risky question about a presumed personal matter might have dire consequences, such as being blocked.
Fans recently observed a quirk in the behavior of an Idolized Personality (IP). IP can be considered among the ones who have managed to separate business from private matters. IP has social media accounts that present projects and other commitments. Once in a while, IP’s life events and significant others get their respective posts.
During one event of IP, fans noticed the wedding band was absent. That observation raised questions as IP has not made any admission of the end of a relationship or a ‘being single and ready to mingle’ pronouncement. Then again, IP is notoriously known for keeping matters private, but perhaps the time will come for IP to clarify the missing ring.
