Tough Choice

The family of Female Talent (FT) has always been supportive of her career. Over the years, FT followed her showbiz dreams confident of the encouragement and backing of her clan. Through her success and failures, the family had her back. Moreover, the clan did not economize on making sure FT gets what she wants. Most of the expenses covered public relations, which are quite expensive.

Sadly, like most businesses, the pandemic affected FT’s family investments, which made the elders rethink if the financial status is still viable to sustain their spending. FT was informed of the situation, but she said she wanted to give her career one more shot with a new goal. When the clan found out FT’s plan, a hard decision was made based on the factors that could make or break her if she pursues the new aim. Given the situation, FT was told to give up her dream temporarily. Some family assets needed to be liquidated to pay off debts that arose from her showbiz ambition. Moreover, FT was reminded that the environment was still unsafe due to virus. FT had no choice but to be the obedient child and focus on an endeavor that is truly within her reach. The family promised her that once the situation is back to normal, she can return to her pursuit of her dreams.

Perceived Saboteur

As soon as Unhappy Celebrity (UC) saw the promo photos, she became upset at how they turned out. Specifically, UC felt she gained weight in the photos and that was unacceptable given that she had been seriously working on getting back in shape. UC worried that potential endorsements might find her too big for product promotion once the photos are uploaded. Immediately, UC complained to the Team Head (TH) and demanded the Production Staff (PS), who prepped her up for the shoot, be fired. UC tagged PS as a saboteur.

TH talked to PS, who did not like what was said. PS reminded TH that his work has been commended by high-ranking executives and loyalty has also been his advantage. Besides, other celebrities appreciated his effort and skills. Only now did someone complain about the way he did his work. Hence, PS said that UC needed someone with impressive Photoshop talent and not one with makeup skills.

Of course, UC found out the reaction of PS and threatened to leave the project if PS sets foot near her. Sensing the possibility of tension on the set, PS was assigned to other projects to avoid crossing paths with UC.

Adorable Distraction

Over the past months, many celebrities have been blessed to be given assignments and the trust of the production teams on them is immeasurable. As the cliché goes, many are striking while the iron is hot. Luckily, such celebrities have shown responsibility in fulfilling work commitments even if the observance of protocols added pressure on top of performing well.

While waiting for the next assignment, Independent Individual (II) decided to go on an adventure to think things over and take a well-deserved breather. II had been working hard in the past months and thus deserved me-time. II knows that when work resumes, personal engagements will take the backseat.

Apparently, II wanted a sense of youthful endeavor that came as a realization. When II wanted to play with Busy Lover (BL), the problem surfaced. BL was too tired to respond to II’s advances. II was disappointed, as BL was too focused on responsibilities. II, nonetheless, hoped BL would realize there are needs that could add spice to their relationship.

Meanwhile, II met Adorable Distraction (AD) and found something appealing in him. The chances of booking AD are nil, as II is merely amused at how AD can be a good companion. However, rumors have it that AD and II might find themselves in the same place soon despite their full schedules.

Thoughtful Wife (TW) wanted to surprise Versatile Celebrity (VC) at his location. VC told TW that he had a schedule for a shoot that day. TW prepared food for the production team as well. She just wanted to make him and the crew happy. Apparently, TW found out that Someone (SO) from VC’s past would be joining him.

Hours later, the delivery personnel came back with the food and told TW that no shooting was happening where VC said he would be. TW panicked and called her Close Contact (CC). CC said that the schedule was already cancelled due to new quarantine protocols. TW then sent a text to VC, who said he will call her back in a while. TW remained calm despite dirty thoughts flooding her mind.

When VC came home, he was shocked at the overwhelming amount of food. TW only said that she knew he would be tired from taping. She did not mention her original plan.

As she could not pacify herself, TW asked someone to check on SO’s whereabouts on the day of the cancelled shoot. She learned SO went about doing her business, which made TW panic more. TW continued her investigation.

A few weeks later, VC informed TW he had work on that day. This time, TW personally came over to the set with food for everyone. She and SO even exchanged pleasantries, but she left immediately. Of course, TW had already told CC to keep an eye on VC and SO. Meanwhile, TW’s investigation on where VC was on the day of the cancelled shoot has so far yielded nothing. VC had not even spoken about that secretive time. Still, TW continues to seek out the truth.

Parent’s Concern

Growing up, Concerned Parent (CP) often teased Likeable Kid (LK) on matters of the heart. LK grew into an attractive young man and with that, his appeal to women was undeniable. As years passed, LK used his fame and fortune to his advantage. While making sure he had enough for his needs, he also ensured the future of his family.

Aware that showbiz is not forever, LK established businesses. LK’s main business was severely affected by the pandemic. However, CP noticed that similar businesses were already recovering, but LK’s was not. Worse, his endorsements were no longer as many as before and his projects were limited. CP worried more as LK had already dipped into his retirement fund and her fear is that LK might lose his ventures if he continued with his ways.

CP asked help from LK’s Best Pal (BP) to check into LK. BP said that he tried to remind LK about his situation, but LK does not listen when he’s in love. He wants to impress, which comes at a high price. CP is aware of LK’s escapades, but this time, he threw caution to the wind. LK is happily in love and that is his reality check. Thus, CP regrets not having warned LK when he was younger about his demeanor when it comes to falling in love.
