Misguided Priority

Transformation is a secret to staying long in the industry. Artists reach a certain stage whereby their safe and comfortable image is no longer as hot as the start. Thus, if they will not change image, then the percentage of their career going downhill will be high. Change, however, has to be planned. Whether the change would come in looks or in roles would have to be considered. Once the change is accepted, the artist knows he/she has her career made. However, an uncalled-for change can lead to drastic results.Hard-headed Talent (HT) was confident that her management will give her what she longed for. HT was sure that her future would be certain as her management has always provided opportunities for her to grow. However, the surprising effects brought about by changes in the entertainment industry and pandemic proved that nothing is indeed certain.
The between job time made HT reflect if she had done something wrong. HT could not think of any action she did that would have made her management make that sad decision. As a strategy, HT tried to connect with other production teams to see if her management would ask her back on paper. Nothing happened. Adding to her woes is that her contemporaries seem to have their assignments, while she’s not in any lineup.
Allegedly, no roles can be given to HT given her body type. HT was told to be cautious about her daily routine, but she did not listen to the advice. Hence, finding a role that would fit her current looks was hard. Thus, HT has to wait longer as talents are turning in droves and being once part of a network is never a guarantee of forever.

Boys Will Be Boys

Showbiz parents were exchanging stories about their kids when the two of them burst out laughing. Parent 1 (P1) and Parent 2 (P2) were talking about the mischief Kid 1 (K1) and Kid 2 (K2). Having caught the two during an awkward moment, P1 kept quiet instead of embarrassing the boys.
Given that K1 and K2 are working together in the same management, the two are friends. Thus, when they are together in shows, the talking is non-stop and hardly do they care about people around them. Both are establishing their names in the industry and their future careers are bright and promising. So far, the two have done successful projects and have solid fan bases, as well.
K1 and K2 are maturing and are already exploring the world around them and of course, their bodies. One time, K2 was hanging around in the home of K1, which was not uncommon, as the two are close. When P1 looked for the two, she went to his room and was initially shocked at what she saw. The two were pleasing themselves and perhaps doing what some teen boys do, that is, who gets to be fastest to reach climax.
When P1 told her story to P2, the two laughed and concluded that boys will be boys

The Rejection

All-around Talent (AT) realized that his looks could only take him so far. AT has a certain look that would make him awkward if he shifted away from roles that were originally intended for him. Production teams have a hard time finding a different role for AT, especially now that projects are limited. Moreover, the A-listers are prioritized over other talents. Although AT has connections, he is still not in the list.
AT approached his Secret Backer (SB) and asked if they could hook up again. SB knew that giving in to AT would have a catch. Thus, SB refused AT and said that she has no time to think about her urges, as she has to deal with the effects of the pandemic. Pressure from management and the new normal in the production have resulted in changes. SB has to focus on work instead of spending intimate moments with AT. Besides, management has issued a reminder discouraging extra-curricular activities in exchange for slots in projects. AT could not do anything, but wait for projects.
Rumors have it that AT had to contact his previous clients for possible service bookings while between jobs. After all, staying idle will not pay the bills.
