“Hysterical” is an understatement in describing the reaction of Showbiz Kin (SK) when she heard the plans of Versatile Performer (VP). After VP went on a quick overseas trip with Handsome Beau (HB), she shared her realizations with SK. The reaction of SK was not surprising, by the way.
Over the years, VP’s affairs have been controlled by the emotional reactions of SK and such has prevented VP from fully pursuing the path of her heart. Lucky for her, HB came at the right place and at the right time to win her over. Unlike her previous relationships, HB showed something that her previous boyfriends did not. HB asserted his love and, in the process, he incurred the ire of SK.
Thinking perhaps that HB would not last, SK started to worry when she realized that he was not showing signs of leaving VP. In fact, VP even fell for him more because he stood his ground and his family adores her so much.
When VP told SK that HB is the person she wants to settle down and spend the rest of her life with, SK started lambasting her and telling her to wait for a few more years to make sure of her feelings. SK even accused her of being a flirt and feeling like she would run out of men. VP, being used to fiery words, did not budge. After all, she would almost be middle-age if she follows the command of SK and she knows she runs the risk of losing the man she truly loves.
Showing her wrath, SK refused the invitation of VP to perform in the overseas leg of a flagship show. VP would have had a duet with Controversial Singer (CS) in that side of the world. Of course, VP has been looking forward to performing with CS, but that did not sway SK’s decision. SK knew that HB would be there as well, which was a major consideration why she did not allow VP to leave.
That’s not all. Other than the hysterical reaction to the desire of VP to settle down with HB, SK sent a scathing message to HB. The message allegedly accused him of taking advantage of their kindness and told him not to show his face to VP. SK blames him for VP rebelling against her wishes. Naturally, HB showed the message to VP, which made her very disappointed and lethargic toward work.
Although HB and VP were seen together recently, this event was official and thus, the two had the opportunity to be with each other. As to whether VP will continue to lack zest for work as a result of SK trying to douse her relationship with HB remains to be seen. For now, VP has realized that she has to really fight for her love for HB.

Stan Lee, the man responsible for much of the Marvel Universe, has died ... Stan's daughter tells TMZ.
We're told an ambulance rushed to Lee's Hollywood Hills home early Monday morning and he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. We're told that's where he died.
Lee had suffered several illnesses over the last year or so -- he had a bout of pneumonia and vision issues.
Stan started Marvel with Jack Kirby in 1961 with The Fantastic Four. He went on to create Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Iron Man and The Avengers.
Stan made cameo appearances in many of the Marvel movies.
Lee had a rocky relationship with Marvel once the company went full-tilt Hollywood. He sued the company in 2002 for royalties he said he was owed for the first "Spider-Man" movie. Three years later he settled the case for $10 million.
"Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse" is the latest installment of the film's franchise and will be released next month.
Lee is survived by his daughter, J.C. His wife of 69 years, Joan, died in 2017.
J.C. tells TMZ, "My father loved all of his fans. He was the greatest, most decent man."
Lee was 95.
