Just Don’t Feel Rejected

It’s that time of year, when celebrities of a big network start checking their wardrobe and their favorite designers for that fabulous red carpet look in a much-awaited event. The said event generates interest locally and internationally. After all, fans are treated to shocking and stunning looks of their idols and it’s a good occasion to show off one’s majestic appearance.

With all eyes looking at one’s look, the pressure can be felt by female celebrities who want to make it to the best-dressed list. No one intentionally dresses up to end in the worst-dressed list, although several celebrities seem not to be able to leave that slot. Hence, many celebrities prepare early and even prior to their receiving their invitations.

Designers and glamour teams are anticipating the job orders they will be having as the event draws closer. For new designers, hearing their names when celebrities are asked who designed their gowns would be such a huge honor. More importantly, mentions lead to exposure and exposure could result in more orders later.

However, One Celebrity (OC) seems to be having a hard time in getting a designer who would take charge of her outfit. Often, designers put on loan the gowns certain celebrities wear during the occasion. Such practice is accepted anyway. OC, meanwhile could not understand why some designers are not keen on propping her up. Allegedly, the designers do not want their brand associated with a celebrity who cannot shake off her negative image. Hence, they would rather not be pressured to be working with OC.

Instead of pushing her luck, OC resorted to a more expensive solution. She contacted a known Celebrity Stylist (CS) and commissioned her to take responsibility to make her fabulous for the said event. CS has already established a reputation for dressing up other celebrities and her work has not gone unnoticed. Nonetheless, rumors have it that CS has a hard time dressing up OC and thus, pulled out.

With her choice quitting, OC is not at all disheartened. She contacted Another Atelier (AA), who is known for her works come June or December. The challenge now is to make sure OC gets to turn heads and praises for the work of AA that she might be wearing. Will OC finally make it to the top of the best-dressed lists or will she have another nay of an appearance?
