Be an Honest Gentleman

Somehow, Cute Heartthrob (CH) is puzzling the Production Staff (PS) if everything he does for Onscreen Relation (OR) is sincere or merely for show. Over the length of time that CH and OR grew into their loveteam, they have proven their box-office draw as well as charisma, which seasoned celebrities have noticed and praised. Thus, CH and OR are another team-up that continuous to have an optimistic outlook.
At the moment, CH and OR seem to enjoy each other’s company despite the ups and downs they show in public and leakages from their private affairs. When news comes out that would affect their partnership, damage control is immediately done and either party is always ready for interviews to show that they can fix matters between them. For the moment, the two seem to be fine.
One time, CH and OR were invited to have dinner with Glamorous Personality (GP). An invitation coming from GP should always be honored, as her dinners can be such an experience. She knows the best food to serve as well as entertainment that would make her guests feel at home. Besides, people have learned that friendships should be nurtured with GP and it would be better to have her as an ally rather than an enemy.
CH and OR agreed to join GP and the date was set. On the day itself, OR showed up, but GP suddenly excused himself. He said he was having stomach problems and having dinner would not be a good decision. GP understood and forgave the absence of CH.
Then, accidentally, PS saw CH with a pretty and wealthy-looking woman on the same night. They were allegedly sweet toward each other. PS was surprised, as CH was supposed to be with OR and GP. However, he seemed to have other plans and privately, OR seemed non-existent in his world. Everything has to be clandestine or else their fans would go crazy if they realize that CH is just acting his way to make sure his career stays afloat. After all, OR is the other half that ignited his career. Incidentally, OR seems to project in public that CH has to do many things to please her, but things are the opposite. OR is the one who has feelings for him, but he’s not reciprocating the way he is expected to when cameras are off.

The PBA on Thursday expressed wariness over possible sanctions that national team players are facing before FIBA following the brawl between Gilas Pilipinas and Australia on Monday.
In a press conference, PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial said the league is waiting for the decision of FIBA, which has opened up disciplinary proceedings for the two squads following a bench-clearing melee that led to the ejection of nine Gilas players and four Boomers.
"Kung suspension hanggang sa FIBA, susundin namin. Kung suspension hanggang PBA, aapela kami," Marcial said, adding that the league will seek the help of Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas President Al Panlilio to make the appeal.
Marcial said the PBA has already met with Gilas players to discuss the incident.
"Sinabihan namin na hintayin natin 'yung investigation ng FIBA. Nagsalita naman sila pero more on sa pinagsabihan namin na sana hindi na maulit lalo sa PBA," Marcial said.
Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) secretary-general Patrick Gregorio, meanwhile, said they have yet to discuss with the PBA and the SBP the possibility of replacing Gilas players if they will be suspended for the upcoming Asian Games.
"We have to sit down again with the PBA to discuss the possibility with the SBP," Gregorio said.
He said the Indonesia Asian Games 2018 Organizing Committee (INASGOC) already made an inquiry to them and expressed its "worry."
"They are our Southeast Asian partners. I'm sure they don't want us to be left out. If we are not in the Asian Games basketball, I think malaking kawalan naman 'yun," Gregorio said.
"I would like to believe they will understand our predicament," he added.
The Asian Games 2018 will be held from August to September in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang. —JST, GMA News
