Sometime ago, Seasoned Actress (SA) earned a reputation that bordered on being pitied and hated. As a prime figure in the industry, observers have tagged SA as generous on the one hand and irresponsible on the other hand. However, no one can put down SA, as she manages to get out her predicament before losing everything.
Over the years, SA knew how it is to be poor and thus, her kind heart would often take over. Stories say that SA would even spend her earnings on treating the crew on her set and giving away her remaining money for the day. There is, of course, another side to this generosity. SA has developed costly vices as she navigated her career.
The pressure to maintain her status and the call to enjoy has led to a bottle or two, which became more. Consequently, her love for alcohol has affected her disposition and professionalism. Worse, she is alleged to have spent time in casinos, and as everyone knows, no one really wins on the gaming table. Losing money just makes gamblers want to play more with the hope that they would recover their losses.
Then, just as when most people, even her family, gave up on her, SA would manage to score a project or two and once again prove that she is still a force to reckon with on screen. Thus, networks would also gamble on her. Having SA in any project would still provide interest even if the investment risks are high.
When SA affixed her signature on the dotted line, hope prevailed that she would be true to her word. The contract allegedly had several limitations, such as not getting involved in illegal substances. The good news is that the contract assured SA of steady income.
To the surprise of many, SA would allegedly still ask for money from her costars for fare or even for food. Some noticed that SA would even request to take home food, which raised questions if she were scrimping on food. Apparently, SA is still short of cash, as she has been spending much of her income on her old ways. Sometimes, SA would come to work tired, as though she lacked sleep. Sadly, such moments would make people conclude that she could have spent the night allegedly playing at the tables or drinking so hard that a hangover would ensue.
