Siding Problems

A silent war is allegedly happening between two of the prized talents of a network. Versatile Actress (VA) and Experienced Talent (ET) used to be very close friends, but time has since changed that relationship. Although VA and EC are famous celebrities, both had diverse ways of establishing their careers.

VA was not known to the world until the time when it was revealed that she had showbiz connections to an influential family in the industry. At that time, critics targeted that relation as her only way to establish her name. By contrast, VA showed dedication and talent by grabbing the opportunity given to her by a network. Starting with supporting roles and performing song and dance numbers, slowly, the audience noticed that VA had potential. The network trusted the judgment of the management by casting her in various drama projects. Fans loved her performances, and so did the ratings game.

Meanwhile, ET had no lineage and only had talent to showcase. Banking on her range of talents, ET won the hearts of the audience with her antics. Growing up, the fear was the time when she would be hitting puberty and the transition might change the course of her career. Lucky for ET, shifting gears silenced her critics and strengthened her position in the network.

Unfortunately, VA and ET are caught in the gap caused by their former lovers. VA started to feel awkwardness when she realized that ET was becoming closer with Her Contemporary (HC), who used to be involved with her Former Boyfriend (FB). After all the stories and the hurt, HC seems to have turned the tide and decided to be chummy with FB. That relationship, however, cannot go any deeper, as FB has moved on. When VA celebrated a special event, fans noticed ET was not among the well-wishers. Worse, among those present at the event was the former partner of ET.

Time would only tell if VA and ET would re-establish ties. However, as both are known professionals and highly devoted to their art, acting together would not be a problem once they are given roles in the same project, which rarely happens.
