The industry has been kind to SA, as she has always had projects and she manages to work with top stars as well as newbies. While the top stars only have praises for her work ethic out of respect and her active faith, the newbies have a different story. Expecting that SA would be more understanding given her length of career, people are shocked that SA could be very impatient and lapse into scary moments.
In some of her projects, whenever a scene would be reshot or have a ‘Take 2,’ SA would suddenly turn to the director and ask loudly who was at fault in having to have a reshoot. Naturally, her co-actors would feel embarrassed, as the feeling of being alluded to prevails. The same attitude would be experienced even if the problem were technical. SA would allegedly murmur and give the stare at the production crew who was at fault. Sometimes, she would even have minor tantrums on the set. Those who have that sweet image of SA in their minds get disappointed when they see SA behave in such manner. Others would simply be afraid of her. Everything has to be perfect or else they would not hear the end of it from SA.
Incidentally, some have said that SA will not tolerate kids running around noisily during Sunday services. SA would make it a point to call out the parents and reprimand them. While kids should indeed be taught proper behavior during such occasions, sometimes SA embarrasses the parents of the said kids.
Nonetheless, SA has built a strong nice image of herself that for most people, seeing her as rude and mean seems unthinkable. Then again, authenticity is sometimes hard to find among showbiz personalities.
