During a weekend, Quirky Celebrity (QC) was seen with her grown kids in a mall. Although the mall is well-known, it caters to a certain type of crowd. Unlike other malls, this one is not frequented by the masses because of its seemingly high-end reputation, as shops are expensive as well as restaurants.
Perhaps, QC thought she would not be minded by people in the area. QC might not be as big a star as she was during her prime, but she remains one of the most respected. She is quite visible and still has loyal fans who have adored her since her early days in showbiz. Thus, it was not surprising that someone approached QC and requested for a photo. As the fan was excited, QC showed the opposite behavior. She seemed hesitant at the idea, but she stayed put for a few photos. However, QC’s facial expression was that of reluctance, which could be read as close to insincerity.
Given that her life is basically an open book, it could be this situation that has made people gravitated toward her. Her image in her projects show her characters are kind and sympathetic. Unfortunately, the near-snubbing incident proved that image is really not the same as the personality behind the actor. Even with advancement in the world, character is still important in establishing ties with fans. Today, fans are even more sensitive, which adds pressure to celebrities to behave accordingly. Meanwhile, QC can always claim that she has given so much of her life to acting, and all she wanted was some quiet and private time with her family.
