Just Overlook the Girl

As always, wiser decisions come late. When Hot Discovery (HD) was starting out, he was not considered as a favorite among his peers. He was even negatively thought of as someone who would not be hardworking at all. Worse, he had an attitude problem and perceived arrogant. These negative factors were noticed by Pretty Talent (PT), and thus, whenever HD insinuated that he liked her, she merely shrugged off his attempts.

At that time, PT was already a household name and was being groomed by the network as among the next line of female talents to be built up. After all, PT has remained loyal to the network, and it was time for her to take advantage of the opportunity given to her. Poor HD, PT ignored him, and she directed her affection to Non-Showbiz Celebrity (NC), who was more famous and more stable than HD. With NC into the picture, PT seems to have everything going for her then. PT had a boyfriend who was accepted by her fans and she was given significant roles in several projects. By contrast, HD was struggling to become known in the entertainment industry.

Time passed and the dreams of PT and HD were not as expected. Soon, NC and PT broke up. NC moved on and admitted to having a new girlfriend in his life. Meanwhile, despite the roles given her, PT did not make an impact and her career did not move as fast as expected. Even having a new relationship did not generate more interest in her career.

In contrast to the ‘lazy boy’ impression tagged on HD, he persevered to transform himself. Workshop after workshop, HD honed his acting skills. Slowly, he started to be noticed, and a big break faced him. Although at the beginning, HD was doubted, he was the one noticed in his big career break. Soon, he was getting accolades for his performance and fans started to clamor for projects for him and his Screen Partner (SP). As these positive things are happening to HD, tables turned.

This time, PT was sending feelers to HD. Expectedly, HD brushed off such ideas and moves of PT for him to notice her again. This time, HD did not entertain PT anymore. He said he already has an SP in his life, whom he believes is running after him now. Despite her own struggles, SP finally found her new and clean route to stardom via HD, which he knows and might just use for his own career advancement. Of course, if their next project proves to be as successful as the previous one, then SP has finally arrived again and HD might just become the next important actor of his network.

Skeptical of His Engaging Promises

Today, networks and providers of entertainment have given fans certain influence on the outcome of the careers of celebrities. Often, fans are encouraged to form groups or chapters to show support for their idols. The question of why not just have one big fan group is often asked whenever fans are shown waving their banners or expressing that they are from this or that chapter. Obviously, fan groups have their other objectives other than supporting their idols.

Whenever fan groups are devoted to a loveteam, expect other groups to form because they only like one partner and prefer another talent for their idol. Hence, they become critical when their disliked partner behaves in an unusual way.

In the case of the supporters of a popular love team, certain fans of Amiable Actress (AA) have been vocal over their doubts on Her Partner (HP). While AA and HP have yet to admit formally they have both a reel and real relationship, their fans cannot help but wait for that moment of confirmation. However, not every fan will be happy over AA’s choice of HP.

While HP has been trying to show affection and thoughtfulness on cam for AA, some fans have revealed that he could be just making a publicity stunt to make sure he is within the spotlight. For example, when AA and HP revealed they were going on a trip out of the country together, only AA and her friends managed to leave. HP stayed as he said he had problems with his travel documents. This excuse has made some pro-AA fans think that HP might have allegedly done something that prevented him from visiting the country. If they were really bent on going together, the papers of HP should have been fixed earlier.

In one of his interviews, HP said that he would be giving jewelry from one of the world’s noted jewelers as a gift for AA. That announcement made their fans cheer, as the cost might prove that HP values AA very much. Even though that jewelry alone would cost quite a hefty amount, HP sounded convincing that he was going to spend so much for AA. However, the fans found out that HP’s gift was a piece of jewelry inspired by the design of the famous jeweler.

These recent actions of HP did not impress fans at all, and thus, the whispers that HP could really be doing such things for show are very loud.
