Doubtful Reaction
One of the latest trends that seem to add prestige to the status of celebrities is venturing into publications. Over the past months, a number of celebrities have launched their books that covered insights to their biographies. Others have even authored children’s stories. Thus, another dimension has been added to the talents of these personalities.
Riding the bandwagon is Celebrity Model (CM) who thought it was time to share to the world some words of wisdom that she has garnered from her experiences. With several exciting moments that delved on triumphs and tragedies, CM has lived a colorful life. She has had her share of milestones and even life events that were envied at first, but disdained the next.
Thus, when CM launched her masterpiece, she decided to go to the trendy style of inviting social media writers to help promote her project. Naturally, most of these writers have set expectations on the flow of activities of the launch. However, they were very disappointed at the way things turned out. First, they noticed that their food was different from those served to VIPs. Obviously, the VIPS had better food and the writers were given the usual. Then, no materials or even copies of the book were distributed free. Hence, most of the writers deliberately did not write in their usual way when it came to CM’s project.
With low publicity, sales did not pick up. Rather than remain in oblivion, CM allegedly started purchasing her own book and started giving copies as her Yuletide present. This year’s gift was a far cry from the usual posh items CM gave away. Nonetheless, one of these recipients was Traditional media Personality (TP). During one of her visits to the network, CM bumped into TP and asked her how she found her gift. With her amiable personality, TP replied that she loved everything about it. To which, CM further asked which specific part did TP like. To get her out of the jam, TP repeated her response and stressed that she loved it.
Given the expected response of TP, CM could not help but doubt if the former had indeed given her project time. Well, what TP did not know was that a close friend of CM saw her assistant holding on to the gift and perusing it. No wonder TP could not reply convincingly; someone else had the book.
