Just Another Desperate Promotion

Prior to the filming of a movie, details have to be ironed out completely to maximize time and investment. When a Production Outfit (PO) got its hands on a potential hit, the team immediately brainstormed on possible cast. Looking at the roster of their available talents, the choices were slim, as most of their bankable talents were already too old to play the roles demanded by the project. Moreover, other talents were already shooting their projects as well. Finally, the female lead role was offered to Talented Lady (TL), but she turned down the offer in lieu of another project.

PO had to revert to plan B. Thus, they thought of casting a real set of relatives to play some crucial roles. Versatile Actor (VA) was all ready to rearrange his schedule just to be in the movie, as it would give him the chance to become closer to Second Choice Actress (SC). When the camp of SC heard that VA was highly considered, they moved heaven and earth to remove VA. Thus, the excitement of VA died down, as SC’s camp was adamant. PO had no choice but to give in to the whims of SC, as not executing the material while it was still popular could lead to disinterest among the target moviegoers.

Finally, after the movie was finished, promotions had to be done. SC and her fellow actors were very excited to do their promotional tours for their movie. They were on TV, radio, and talked about in social media. Like all other movies, a premiere night was scheduled. While everyone thought that the camp of SC had no more tricks up its sleeves, SC came forward and invited VA to attend the premiere night.

VA was no longer surprised at the invitation. He has already realized that SC will drag him into the picture every time she needs a bit of controversy in her life. Although he was thankful that he was invited, VA opted to skip the screening, saying that he had a previous engagement. Besides, his presence might steal the limelight from SC and the promotion of her movie might focus on VA as well. To make sure none of such would happen, VA skipped the event.

After the most talked about weddings of Solenn Heussaff, Georgina Wilson, and Isabelle Daza, Anne Curtis-Smith will finally walk down the aisle with long-time boyfriend, Erwan Heussaff.

Early today, netizens were greeted with the engagement of Anne and Erwan via a video showcasing the recent US trip of the couple, Anne’s NYC Marathon, food trips, and other highlights of their trip together since 2010. Towards the last minute and a half of video, uploaded by Erwan, he pops the question while down on both knees. Anne’s “Yes!” ends the video.

The couple started dating in 2009, and went exclusively dating in 2010. Since that time, the two have been seen going on trips overseas. Unlike her other relationships, namely, Oyo Sotto, Richard Gutierrez, Paolo Araneta, and Sam Milby, Erwan has avoided the glitz and glamour of showbiz despite being the brother of actress and artist Solenn. Accordingly, Erwan prefers the Internet rather than go mainstream with his endeavors in the food and restaurant business.

Now, speculations are focused on the actual date, venue, sponsors, and other logistics of the wedding. Of course, the decision of the couple as to the designer of Anne’s wedding gown is much of a guessing game.
