Failing to Get What She Wants

When Female Celebrity (FC) saw Non-showbiz Pal (NP) of Athletic Actor (AA), she knew she had to get close to him. The attraction was immediate, and FC was just too excited to share a moment with NP. The time spent with NP and AA was proving to be interesting after all. FC felt that training hard should have its reward at the end.

Among the celebrities, FC and AA belong to the handful of talents who have made joining athletic events a major part of their lives. Despite their heavy schedule in front of the camera, they make time to get fit, hit the gym, swim a few laps, and run miles after miles. Hence, FC and AA do have a goal in mind, which is to exhibit good performance in their next athletic activities, such as joining various marathons locally and internationally.

During one of these out of town meets, FC, NP, and AA found themselves together. As soon as FC found out where the boys were staying, she booked a room for herself at the same venue. Because FC is not a stranger to AA, he did not have any reason not to be nice to her. As a gentleman, AA accorded respect to FC. Thus, when FC joined them for drinks, AA merely thought it was just for unwinding.

As the drinks came one after the other, the conversations were becoming too close and FC was making her moves. Definitely, AA was off limits because he is very much committed to Network Treasure (NT), who happens to be well-loved by a mass of fans. One wrong move towards AA could get her in trouble. So, NP was her target. However, alcohol failed miserably. When NP realized what FC had in mind, he put his foot down and stopped her. He then said that he considered FC’s Current Love Interest (LI) as his bestfriend. This statement shocked FC, as she thought she could get away with it, as LI was somewhere far undergoing his own training regimen.

As boys will be boys, NP told LI what happened. As he realized her commitment was doubtful, LI told FC they were done. Thus, a moment of failed seduction ended everything for FC and LI. If FC learned her lesson, time will only tell. For now, love has eluded her.

Smart’s School-in-a-Bag is a digital learning package designed to help educators and learners in underserved communities, especially those that do not have access to electricity.

The package contains educational and connectivity tools (laptops, tablets, TV, smartphone, pocket WiFi) that come with learning modules and a solar panel. With School-in-a-Bag, children in remote areas now have the opportunity to learn through modern learning tools and access to the internet’s wealth of information and content.
