A few weeks ago, fans were disappointed when a Famous Couple (FC) did not even bother to notice them prior to a show. FC was invited to perform at a venue in the premises of an upscale mall. When some workers of the mall heard that the celebrities were coming, they became excited. As fans, it would be such a treat to see FC up close and personal and within a real environment without cameras in tow and the regular groupie in the background.
Thus, the limited number of fans went to the path FC will walk by to reach the venue. Although the mall is busy, the pair was led via a not so crowded way. Hence, only those fans knew where to position themselves. Armed with their smartphones and other devices, the fans lined up ready to snap a photo.
As the organizers saw the small group was gathering, they immediately told the fans that what they intend to do was not allowed. Hence, the fans moved to a location that would enable them to see the couple, but without interfering with their way.
The fans were excited, as they knew the couple was on their way. Like typical of the fandom of FC, these fans were ready to scream, which was normally done. However, they were very disappointed. As FC walked by, they did not turn their heads. They looked ahead, no smiles, and not even a wave at people who had gathered to see them. Thus, any photo op was negated, as the small group of fans felt they were snubbed by their idols, no less.
Someone even remarked that the reason why the couple behaved that way was that no press was around and no network camera was there to capture their reaction. Moreover, the couple behaved similarly while abroad allegedly. Hence, the fans could not help but think that the couple was so different from the friendly and fan-loving pair they projected in front of the cameras.
