Finally Getting Her Way

Over the years, Talented Figure (TF) has always been the envy of followers and other parties. TF is admired for her talent and her faithfulness to her family. Ever since she started her career, the life of her family has improved. From a humble home, her earnings have been invested in a comfortable home, luxurious items, and most importantly, in the education of her siblings.
Given her success, people expected TF to enjoy the fruits of her labor. However, some production people attest that her supposed financial worth is not indicated in how she carries herself. Expectedly, ladies want to wear clothes in fashion and at the same time, enjoy buying stuff. In the case of TF, she would often go to her commitments in her house clothes and depend on the clothes sent by her endorsers for her outfit for the taping or show.
A quick check on her status presents a sad reality. Even if she has worked for most of her life, she hardly had the opportunity to touch her payment because her contract allegedly stipulates that payment should be coursed through her or a Close Kin (CK). Being older and wiser, CK would always get the payment. TF only gets an allowance, which is not even enough to pay for a branded pair of shoes.
One day, TF declared that she has had enough of living like a caged nightingale. Thus, she went to her management and instructed them to have her paychecks directly given to her. TF realized the value of experiencing of owning her own money, opening a bank account, monitoring her finances, and even withdrawing from the ATM. In other words, TF wants her independence.
Giving strength and guidance to TF is her charming Significant Other (SO). Unlike her previous relationships, TF found that SO had the guts to stand up against her family, which meant he ran their relationship based on what would be best for him and TF. Moreover, SO stood his ground for TF. By contrast, CK and company are upset, as TF wants her freedom. However, instead of waiting for CK to see the value of allowing TF to live her life, TF has allegedly moved out and is striking it out on her own. Waiting for CK's approval may take forever. Now, TF could hold her own money and spend it the way she wants. Meanwhile, her family blames SO, as they believe he is responsible for teaching her to rebel against them. These days, TF and SO are seen together more often in various gatherings, which were quite a change from their occasional dates a few months back. For the time being, TF seems to be enjoying her newly found freedom.
