Depending on their image, celebrities are expected to behave in a certain way, which would serve as model behavior for fans who idolize them. For instance, an actress who often portrays roles of being bullied is expected to be a nice and kind person in real life. By contrast, the villain is often thought of as someone who is mean in reality. However, stereotypes are not always true, and most often, the impression celebrities make on media is not necessarily true for their behavior off cam.

When Seasoned Actress (SA) entered a restaurant in a posh hotel, all eyes were upon her. After all, despite the years, SA has maintained her youthful glow, which has given hope for young girls who wish to follow her footsteps to achieving her status. Although the restaurant was full and diners were expected to mind their own dishes, still, others could not help but glance at SA every so often. People are curious to find out if SA gorges out like ordinary mortals or if she remains prim and proper with every plate that she brings to her table.

Having been used to being observed, SA went around the restaurant like the typical diner. Some dishes were favored over others and naturally, SA picked the ones she liked. SA chose her food, sat at her table, and ate her food. As she seemingly behaved like everyone in a posh environment, everything seemed normal and other diners no longer minded that SA was a celebrity. Perhaps thinking that no one would bother to look her way, she did not realize someone saw her do the unthinkable. SA slipped a plate of dimsum in her bag. Then, she proceeded as though nothing happened. The act of SA was a bit shocking, especially because SA is a known celebrity and is considered to come from the upper echelons of society.

SA’s alleged behavior was so bold and risky for someone in her status. Imagine the embarrassing headlines if she had been caught with dimsum in her bag. The awkwardness would fall between hilarity and pity. Surely, it was not out of hunger that SA did that. Perhaps, she loved the dimsum that she only wanted to have some more when she gets home. Nonetheless, her action lacked class, which is the image she has built for so her many years in the limelight.
