Blind at His True Colors

Hardworking Talent (HT) is the epitome of the boy-next-door. He’s good-looking, talented, and hardworking. Most of all, HT is loyal to his network, which has given him some of the busiest years since he started working there. The network gave him projects that tested his talents in drama, comedy, singing, and dancing. He delivered and soon his projects came one after the other. However, there was something amiss. Although he was competent in all aspects, his fame had reached a certain level and so far, his career has reached a plateau.
Unlike other actors who have reinvented themselves to keep public interest, HT cannot shake off his neat image, which has resulted in rumors on his true color. Fueling such rumor is the failed attempts of his network in finding him a screen partner. It’s not that he needs one, but the network is bent on finding him a partner. However, most of the actresses who were paired with him are now happily settled in their careers and have progressed by being paired off with other leading men.
Then, HT surprised everyone by introducing his Pretty Girlfriend (PG). While some remained cynical, HT and PG became visible and HT was obviously trying to erase the image that has resulted from rumors. In one occasion, HT and PG agreed to go on a trip. On the eve of their trip, HT said he was going for a round of drinks with his fellow actors. PG agreed, as she knew the friends, anyway.
After some drinks, Network Actor (NA) became touchy with HT. Obviously, HT was enjoying the moment, and both of them were feeling the effects of alcohol. To escape prying eyes, HT and NA moved to a more private place. Without their knowing, someone (SO) noticed the disappearance of NA and HT, and decided to look for them. Within a few minutes, SO heard sounds of pleasure from where NA and HT could have gone.
The next morning, HT was so dazed that he could not figure out what happened the night before. PG stayed with HT and started teasing him for some action. As she tried to warm him up, HT was unmoved and he kept refusing. PG persisted, but HT was firm and did not give in to PG’s advances. PG was clueless as to why HT refused, which he apparently does not often do. Nonetheless, PG stopped and let HT take his rest for the day.
