Though Shall Love, Not Forget

Spending more than half her life for the man (TM) she loves, Former Actress (FA), has remained loyal to him even though she knows he is sharing him with so many other women. Nonetheless, FA stayed on because TM is such a good provider. When she dropped out of showbiz, TM took care of her needs. FA reciprocated by not wasting her allowance and other benefits. Instead, she invested the money and raised their children well.

Now that the children are all grown up, nothing has changed between FA and TM except for their age. TM is still the suave man that mesmerized FA when she was a young beauty trying to make a career in showbiz. Well, physically, age has taken over, and with age comes certain ailments. However, there was one factor that has not mellowed despite the age of TM, and that is his passion for women.

For several years, FA would behave more than a wife to TM whenever it was his schedule to visit her. She would be very attentive, listen to him talk, and laugh at his jokes. Her world revolved around him, and unlike other women, FA would be a hundred percent focused on him, as she would make sure all her personal communication devices are turned off when he is around. The exaggerated description is that if FA could chew the food of TM, she would do it for him.

While all seems well, FA found out that TM was seeing a woman. While this scene is nothing new, as FA was well aware of what kind of man she was involved with, the revelation was too much for FA. This time, TM was allegedly hooking up with a very young woman (VW), who is like a granddaughter to TM already. Worse, VW happened to be related to a showbiz family friend, who recently mellowed down and quietly slipped away from the limelight.

Feeling betrayed, as VW is the daughter of a friend, FA stopped talking to TM for several months. However, TM has his way with women, and they reconciled. Is everything okay for now? Sadly, age has indeed caught up with TM because he apparently has lapses in his memory. Despite being surrounded by people most of the time and having to deal with all sorts of publicity and cohorts, TM is showing signs of forgetting. People close to him fear he might be showing early signs of Alzheimer’s. The greatest fear of FA is, of course, being forgotten by TM, whom she loves so dearly despite having to share him with many others.
