Unexpected Manifestation of Stress

For someone who has always been caught between freedom and responsibility, coping mechanisms can only take as much. The common advice is to first accept the stressor and then find a way to rechannel stress. When talking to friends is insufficient, some indulge in hobbies, such as getting into the trend of adult coloring books, baking cupcakes, or firing some bullets in the range, to feel better.

Sometimes, when a person can no longer handle the stress, behavior can manifest the heavy burden. Others have a clear change in their behavior, whereas others could not afford to show their feelings because their image has to take precedence.

Work is one of the reasons for stress, but for most showbiz personalities, work is something enjoyable and those who think of acting or hosting as stressful slowly fade out of the business. However, showbiz personalities are people who fall in and out of love. For ordinary people, they can show their sadness and disappointment to their peers without fear of being revealed. By contrast, a mere change in behavior or look of a showbiz celebrity can get the public speculating and talking.

For Prominent Figure (PF), stress has reached high levels, such that health is an issue. Luckily, PF is smart enough to seek diagnosis for the discomfort and was advised medication to make sure no further harm would come. No surgery was required for the condition, which was good. The pressure was really getting on to PF, as a doctor’s assistance was needed to figure out what was ailing PF. Allegedly, PF was too bothered by the meddling of people, which resulted in affecting the body. Having lived a monitored life, each movement of PF was watched and through the years, the freedom that should be given to someone of age was deprived of PF.

Thus, when love entered the picture, PF was extremely torn between feelings and freedom versus duty and responsibility. When the relationship of PF and Another Celebrity (AC) was out in the open, the immediate reaction was not towards the couple, but more on the camp of PF. Predictably, the camp attempted to break the relationship, but PF and AC stuck to each other. While people thought that the camp has given in to the desire of PF, apparently, there is still restraint in giving PF the freedom to love and to be with AC without issue.

PF is still young and has much potential to tap, but the celebrity has given so much already to the family and the field of entertainment. Family has benefitted from the career of PF and yet they would not grant PF the opportunity to move and love freely.
