Keep Calm and Behave Please

Competition among teleseryes is on a high note. Gone are the days when actors merely act out the required skills, as they are demanded to be realistic in their actions. Viewers can sense if an actor is faking a skill or is a natural. Therefore, actors are required to undergo training to make sure that they come out realistic in the required scenes.

When preparing for certain roles, actors undergo acting workshops and immersion activities. Newbies are often asked how they tackle their roles, and they usual say that they have attended acting classes given by the network. For the networks, workshops are also good venues to discover new talents and immediately know who in the roster can be trusted with dramatic roles.

Another way to prepare for roles is to gain exposure in real life situations. For example, actors are made to socialize with people who live similarly to the roles they will be playing. Some are brought to certain locations so they would get a feel of the environment.

All these efforts are done to make sure that actors are familiar with their role, and when the cameras start rolling, they would know how to act. Thus, Hot Heartthrob (HH) and Teen Actress (TA) were required by the production to undergo training sessions to make their actions in their roles more believable.

As HH and TA are quite comfortable with one other. They were too chummy and kept teasing during the sessions. HH and TA were poking each other, and naturally, giggles filled the air. Soon, the instructor got piqued and offended. HH and TA were not attentive and disrespectful of the teacher in front of them. The instructor also feared that HH and TA might forget themselves and start making a mess with the stuff in front of them.

The training required discipline and precision, and HH and TA were too distracted with each other. Eventually, the instructor set down the rules. HH and TA would have to attend sessions individually or else no lesson would happen.
