After a couple of recognitions and a Passionate Boyfriend (PB), Young Actress (YA) is finally getting her career on track. Lingering in the background for several years in her network, YA was noticed in a movie and being together with PB. Sadly, YA seems to have no interest in even achieving more in her career.
In an upcoming project, the production noticed that YA was becoming uncooperative. First, YA refused to wear the provocative outfits the character required. YA even walked out and told one of the network’s officials of what was being asked of her. Of course, the head was called to explain. What puzzled the production is that YA knew that she would be part of a project that borders on exciting the audience. During the past years, her network has been producing such projects, which has raised questions on how much skin could be shown at a certain time of the day.
Second, without informing the production, YA had a haircut. Anyone who is familiar with the rudiments of production knows that YA’s change of look can spell disaster for the continuity of the story. The crew had to suddenly revise and adapt to the situation created by YA. Worse, she refused to wear a wig, which could have made things easier for the staff.
Third, YA has been reported coming late to her tapings several times. Her excuse was that she was doing something in her van. When the delay was making people tense, someone had to fetch YA from her van. That person was shocked, but not surprised, to find PB in the van with YA. The immediate reaction was that they must have been making out, which prevented YA from showing up on time. The other reaction was that PB would rather be absent from his show to guard YA.
Fourth, in her show, YA has become uncooperative by being difficult when she has to do her spiels. Worse, ever since she hooked up with PB, YA has been throwing weight and feeling as if she were a bigger star than the other performers in the same show. Moreover, YA would be absent whenever PB could not attend the show. Someone commented that PB and YA were a package deal. The worse outcome of this attitude is that the show can drop YA anytime. After all, her presence does not really make a difference.
Unless YA realizes this early that her current behavior and actions are not acceptable, then she might just find herself with no career. A long line of potential talents is always knocking at the station’s doors. No one is indispensable in this business.
