How Much is He Really Worth

When his carefree diversion became the subject and speculation of news, Nonchalant Celebrity (NC) did not say much about the hours he spent enjoying himself. However, people who saw him in his diversion speculated that he might be spending too much and he was squandering his acquired wealth. When confronted with such rumors, NC merely shrugged off such stories. At one point, NC was caught to have said that it was his money that he was spending, anyway.

Gifted with charm and luck, NC managed to attract a mass following, and he endeared himself to the older viewers of television. Moreover, he became very popular, such that his name became synonymous to winning money in an instant. He knew how to play his cards right, but his success made him arrogant and proud. Despite his mass appeal, his criticisms on air that spared not even his network turned off a number of viewers. His actions seemed to indicate disregard for the network that gave him the break.

After some heartbreaking events, NC was seen in another channel, and in the gaming houses. At first, people thought he was just enjoying himself and they let him. However, rumors of his losses became a cause for alarm. He was even alleged to have been approached by the security and was requested to go home as his debt was too much already. A nine-digit figure was supposed to have been the amount of what he owed.

Despite all setbacks, NC will soon be resurrecting his career. Much is expected from NC, from reviving his career, attracting viewership, and drumming up interest for his new program. Of course, his critics are watching his every step and ready to comment on his new venture. While there is no doubt that NC is an entertainer, will he be able to get back his former appeal and will he value more this chance to go on air? More importantly, will he mend his ways of diversion and stay away from such temptation?

Yesterday, FP published a blind item, “She’s Expecting a Baby,” which described the forthcoming stork news about a comebacking talent. Now, Insta Scoop confirms the identity of the talent, and she’s no other than Empress Schuck. On Saturday, Empress will be interviewed on Startalk, the country's longest running showbiz talk show, to give light on this issue.

Empress started her career at GMA where she played roles in teleseryes, such as Munting Anghel, Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin, Ang Iibigin ay Ikaw, and Etheria. In her early teen years, Empress was often cast as the young version of the lead in her appearances. After five years with GMA, Empress left and joined ABS–CBN.

For the next nine years, Empress acted in various shows as a Kapamilya. She landed roles in several episodes of Maalaala Mo Kaya, 100 Days to Heaven, etc. In 2010, she starred in Rosalka, which was considered as one of the biggest breaks in her career. However, as talents moved into the network, the lack of big projects eventually made Empress look for career options.

Towards the end of 2014, Empress moved back to GMA, and after a few months, she was cast in one of the lead roles in Kailan Ba Tama ang Mali? With her admission of her pregnancy, rumors have it that the teleserye would be cut short as the storyline might not be able to accommodate the fact that she will be giving birth in a few months. The revelation of Empress is viewed from two sides. On the one hand, people think that her early admission will spell doom for her career. On the other hand, her admission is also admired as only a handful would admit being pregnant, especially if they are single.

She’s Expecting a Baby

Whenever an actress disappears from the limelight for a significant moment or when her weight gain becomes noticeable, the issue of pregnancy is immediately linked to her name. Then, the longer time the actress takes to react to the issue, the rumor continues to spread like wildfire. Thus, people assume the rumor to be true.

In the history of showbiz, denial and keeping silent about pregnancy issues are often the options for single actresses, especially if they belong to the top talents of their network. Several actresses have denied being pregnant, but admitted the issue when their bodies could no longer hide their growing tummies. Some female personalities give birth far away, hide their child, and return to showbiz as if nothing happened.

Instead of the usual denial or “no comment” stance, Comebacking Talent (CT) will soon admit she is in the interesting stage. Rather than deny the issue, CT will reveal publicly that she is indeed pregnant. Allegedly, CT is only in her first trimester. Her revelation will surely create a bit of controversy as her network had just given her a big project after so many months since she returned. Sometime ago, she did say that the lack of projects has made her move from one network to another.

Although CT is not really a big star, her admission of her state might earn her praises, as very few talents admit the truth these days. Besides, the truth will spare her from the unwanted attention coming from those who will insist for a revelation. Thus, she can freely act accordingly, as she is not hiding anything. Incidentally, the alleged father of the baby is not from showbiz. He comes from a prominent political family. As to marriage between them, nothing has been set yet.
