Police Officer is Mister International Philippines

He did it!
Neil Perez, the 29-year-old police officer who represented Tondo, won the title of Mister International Philippines and Best in Swimwear and Most Photogenic at the finals night of the Misters of the Philippines pageant on September 7.
He also took home the Mr Unisilver and Mr Informatics sponsored awards, as well as the Mr Multidestination award.
He made it to the top 15 early on in the evening. Here are the rest of the winners:
1st runner up: Nicko Dela Cruz, Mister Sta Cruz, Manila
Mister Tourism International: Judah Cohen, Mister Fil-USA
Mister Model International: Adam Davis, Mister Fil-UK
Mister Gloal Philippines: Joseph Doruelo, Mister Caloocan City
26 candidates representing areas all over the Philippines competed in the male pageant.
Netizens were abuzz with curiosity after news surfaced that Police Officer 2 Mariano Perez Flormata Jr or “Neil Perez” from the PNP’s Aviation Security Group joined the Misters of the Philippines competition.
The ‘model’ cop gained fans who admired his moreno good looks, which many said would work in his favor for the international pageants.
The popular pageant-centric blog Ang Haraya, maintained by Rappler contributor Drew Francisco, pinpointed Neil as being one of the frontrunners of the competition.
The blog says: “The face of the competition, 'Mamang Pulis' definitely is the front-runner in this competition. He is clearly the choice of the mob, not just of the media mileage he got but because he really prepared for the pageant. His consistency and rigid preparation makes him a strong contender for the title. The tag ‘Distinctively Handsome’ perfectly fits him.”
The blog later predicted that Neil would take the top title of Mister International Philippines.

“Promoting the healthy lifestyle of the PNP personnel, PO2 Flormata serves as a model to all police officers who want to be fit and healthy while protecting our community from different crimes,” said the PNP in a statement last August 12.
Neil is a BS Criminology graduate from the Manuel L. Quezon University-Manila and has been in the police force for almost 6 years, said the PNP.

Actress Jessy Mendiola accidentally tripped on her gown during the 8th Star Magic Ball held Saturday night.
Wearing a black Popo Go ball gown and sporting a new hairdo, Mendiola went solo to the celebrity event.
Mendiola tripped on the stairs of the Makati Shangri-La Hotel but fellow Kapamilya star Jodi Sta. Maria and other staff members quickly helped her to get back on her feet.

Paolo Bediones Resigns as TV5 News Anchor

It was the right thing to do, considering that, after his six-minute sex video went viral, it kept on replaying in the minds of televiewers, thereby distracting them from whatever Paolo was reporting. Only last week, a second one (this time 16-minute video, according to those who have seen it) surfaced on social media. That was too much for Paolo who admitted that those were shot when he was still with GMA. TV5 issued a statement supporting Paolo but just the same he volunteered to stay off-air.
Funfare was informed that Paolo has resigned as newscaster but remains as host of the Public Affairs show Demolisyon, while the NBI, upon Paolo’s request, continues to search for whatever evil mind has uploaded those videos in the Internet. Paolo’s resignation came on the heels of the revamp of the TV5 news.

Such a Natural, Veritable Homewrecker

Years ago, eyebrows were raised when Actress Singer AS was linked to extremely Hot Actor HA. Critics said that AS and HA were not in the same league when it came to their backgrounds, especially their looks as she was a plain Jane. The relationship fell apart, and AS eventually got married, left showbiz and lived abroad with her husband.
But her marriage which bore a child fell apart years ago, AS cited a 3rd party that caused it all. How she despised that woman who caused her marriage to crumble as she mourned her misfortune. Later on, she decided to come back to the country to revive her career, but she realized it wasn’t that easy. Stiff competition made projects hard to come by.
Meanwhile, AS persevered, and in the course of her revived showbiz adventure, she met a Wealthy Businessman WB whose business/products became popular among celebrities. WB was reportedly overwhelmed by the sudden deluge of celebrities seeking his attention for all sorts of reasons (read: endorsements). AS became one of its early users and her frequent visits to WB’s office reportedly leveled up their friendship. Before AS knew it, she was already having an affair with the much- married WB.
Being a single parent without a stable income, AS’ illicit relationship with WB allegedly became her passport to a life of comfort. Soon she was often seen shopping like there’s no tomorrow, enjoying her new conquest to the hilt.
Soon, WB’s Wife WW got wind of her husband’s affair with AS, but the well-bred and equally wealthy WW opted to keep quiet to protect the family’s name and avoid being rocked by the scandal. However, her demeanor worked to her disadvantage as AS allegedly abused her silence and treated WB as her own to keep. Oddly enough, AS who once despised a 3rd party that wrecked her marriage had become the oppressor/homewrecker herself. Reportedly, the financial gains made her affair with WB her win-win game.
Meanwhile, WB and WW’s once happy family ultimately fell apart. WW decided to finish off her marriage to WB. She was so offended that she removed her married name on her social media accounts, and took solo care of her children where they live at posh community in the south. WW’s side of family is old money with big properties to their belt.
In one of her lowest moments, WW posted a message on social media that was vaguely addressed to AS, telling her of WW’s sentiments and pleaded to AS to just be discreet for the sake of her children.
Surprisingly, AS privately messaged WW - and apologized for all that she did to her. AS even hinted at being ready to make amends by eventually breaking up with WB. AS said a mouthful against her ersthwhile benefactor, maybe to appease the aggrieved wife. But AS didn’t know that she would have one scary thing coming: WW copy-pasted her private message and posted it on her social media account thereby exposing her to public ridicule.
If that was meant as a revenge, surely WW did it her way – smart. As to AS… quo vadis?

Prianes said he was frustrated to this event because there was this point that the priest was throwing some foul words even though everyone was responding appropriately.
He even thought that this priest was just having a bad day, but he strongly pointed out that there are better ways to cascade messages without using foul words at all, especially the fact that this person is a 'priest'.
Prianes believes that the (rude) impression given to them was just not right.
Aside from that, he said he was humiliated by the assistant of the priest who furiously shouted at him when he tried to approach him.

UNEXPECTED EXPERIENCE DURING THE CHRISTENING AT EDSA SHRINE
Aug 31, around 330 pm i attended a baptismal ceremony at the EDSA SHRINE. When i arrived, it was already in the middle of the ceremony were these cute little angels with thier parents and godparents were standing in the middle of the altar. I notice that the priest was mad and his tone is somehow irritated. Reason? the parents are not responding "Amen" loud enough as what the priest wanted them to do. Im shocked when the priest stated "kanina ko pa kayo sinasabihan na lakasan ang pagsabi ng AMEN pagkatpos buhusan ng tubig sa ulo mga anak nyo pero para kayong walang boses. Sana wag lumaki ang mga anak nyo na katulad nyo na matitigas ang ulo!". A moment of silence.
It was my godson's turn to be baptized. The priest said "glory be to the father, to the son and to the holy spirit", EVERYONE responded with amen. At that same moment the priest said "naknang kanina ko pa kayo sinasabihan na lakasan ang amen! Bahala n kayo s buhay nyo!", the priest walked-out. Another moment of silence. I approached the assistant of the priest and asked "Excuse me, what happened? Will he still finish the ceremony? I felt humiliated when this guy responded with "Kanina pa kasi kayo sinsbhan n sumagot ng malakas na amen hindi nyo magawa! Titigas ng ulo nyo! Then i replied with "wag kang sumigaw, ngtatanong lng ako". This guy (in the picture below) furiously shouted back at me and said "Gusto mo ikaw kumausap kay father!!! Punthan mo!! Sino ka ba?!! I opted to reply with "isa ako sa mga ninong. Wag kang sumigaw. Nagtatanong lng ako. You're so rude! Then he responded with "Rude? Eh d ikaw pumunta kay father, tangnang to"
I was about to respond when a girl (one of the godparents) reacted "Excuse me, he was just asking what will happen. He just asked you in a nice way, man. You're not supposed to serve the church if ur attitude is like that, Bastos ka! This guy did not react and left to call the priest back. When the priest got back, he tried to finish the baptismal ceremony in the fastest way he could. After the priest stated the final blessing, he had his last words "o ayan tpos na, magsialis na kayong lahat"
That was very frustrating event. I can hardly imagine we have these people rudely serving GOD, churches and our people. I would say this is just a manifestation that Devil can always disguise into an immaculate Angel.
