Lacking Goodwill

As a social media savvy personality, PM uploaded her photos online with the residents and volunteers. The photos projected that PM was freely interacting with people coming from all walks of life. However, the truth was far from what the image showed. Although there were photo-ops with PM, she gave instructions that no one should come near her. When she was overheard saying “Ew!” as they walked along the streets of the project, those who heard it did not like her expression at all.
Sadly, the ordinary folks saw beyond the prettiness of PM. They immediately sensed that she was not into the project for the less fortunate. In short, she was disconnected, and thus, they did not appreciate her presence at all. Some people were irritated that they were saying expletives at her attitude among themselves. Some even called her "suplada." With her behavior, it is no longer a wonder why netizens do not take kindly to her photos showing her helping in civic events.
Could this also be a case of birds of the same feather flocking together? Whenever PM and her gang post pictures of their involvement in socio-political events, their accounts receive more negative reactions at their “involvement” that praises. Worse, criticisms are hurled calling them hypocrites, who are merely riding on the issue for the day.
Although PM comes from the upper social strata, having name, fame, and all, she could learn to socialize sincerely with the less fortunate without bringing her attitude. The NGO is not known for inviting celebrities as they rely on the spirit of low-key volunteerism to uplift the living conditions of the poor. Hence, to be invited by this NGO brings prestige, and more so to have a project that sounds like one’s name.

His Loss, Her Gain

Although TW had some sort of an image in her films back in the days, she was nevertheless a resilient and ideal partner to CH after they tied the knot years ago.
It was a fruitful marriage in the beginning, that turned very painful in the end. Charges of serial infidelity scarred their relationship big time. The couple, now embroiled in a court battle after they filed charges against each other vowed to address their grievances and to finish till the end.
The process of any legal battle can be very tough between any feuding parties more so if it involves the children. TW tried as much with all her might to protect and shield her children from the possible trauma that it might bring them. Yet some people cannot say the same thing towards CH.
Reportedly, the battle for custody has reared its ugly head as CH allegedly kept brainwashing the kids to lie before the court. The confused kids wouldn't know how to take CH's words aware as they are from the start what lying is all about. It allegedly broke TW's heart knowing her kids suffer that way under CH who seems to take everything as a competition between him and TW.
People privy to this story and even showbiz followers know only too well what a big loss CH had allowed to happen in his family life. Although most of TW's loved ones would prefer that it happened the way it did rather than having to prolong her agony further.
At the end of it all - it is TW who won in this battle – public image and credibility, notwithstanding. And whether CH takes it or not, his undoing unwittingly became TW's saving grace in the end.

Senator Jinggoy Estrada's Passport to be Cancelled

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has yet to assess the request, according to DFA spokesman assistant secretary Raul Hernandez.
The three senators were implicated in the P10Billion Pork Barrel Scam allegedly through its mastermind, Janet Lim Napoles who is now being detained at Fort Sto Domingo in Sta Rosa, Laguna.
Earlier, there were reports that Senator Jinggoy Estrada's travel plans were being thwarted by some government agency. Senator Estrada is supposed to leave the country for some vacation, yet he received word that he is being requested to give up his passport until further notice.
The way it sounds, looks like this is going to be the start of not so pleasant journey for the senator.
