Bb. Pilipinas Candidate Theresa Fenger Backs Out Due to Racy Photos

Binibining Pilipinas candidate #35 Theresa Fenger voluntarily backed out from the pageant due to alleged racy photos from FHM men's magazine and other magazines.

Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc., enforces a rule that any candidate who has posed for sexy magazines will be automatically disqualified.

It looks like Ms. Fenger belatedly came to know about the ruling thus realized her indiscretion. This prompted her to withdraw voluntarily from the the competition after weeks of participation in the pre-coronation activities. Incidentally, Ms. Fenger was also the female winner in the Century Tuna Superbods 2009.

Binibining Pilipinas has not yet released an official statement as of this publication. However their website no longer includes the name of Theresa Fenger on the roster of Binibining Pilipinas 2013 candidates.

If we recall, former Binibini candidate, Sandra Seifert, was also disqualified for posing for FHM magazine. But she recovered from that and joined Miss Philippines Earth 2009 and eventually won. She further vindicated herself by placing Miss Earth-Air 1st Runner-up in the Miss Earth Pageant.

Meanwhile, model KC Gonzalez Cajandig from General Santos City was chosen to replace Ms. Fenger.

Back to Make Amends

Controversial Actress’ CA impending return to big network BN is in the works. But unlike her previous network transfer, this one doesn’t sound welcoming. Allegedly being hampered by Outspoken Actress OA, CA’s comeback will not come like a walk in the park. The two had unsettled issues in the past involving loyalties and relationships. BN’s Powerful Personality PP is protective of OA on this aspect. Scared that CA may pose a big problem to BN, PP reportedly laid out conditions before CA gets the welcome she had long aspired for. Talks have it that said conditions are harsh for CA to abide by, something that's tantamount to saying that she better toe the line, or else.. .

It was alleged that OA is the one behind PP’s laying out those conditions. She feels that the working ambience in BN will never be the same the moment CA sets foot in there. BN’s stars are likewise concerned given CA’s attitude and the many unfavorable stories about her working habits. They believe that everyone’s fears are valid. But true or not, the anti-CA sentiments created a life of its own. Poor CA, did she ever see all these things coming? The once prized star is now suddenly being shunned like a plague. What can be more painful?

But apart from CA’s discouraging welcome, some observers ask what makes OA such a powerful voice in BN, particularly the kind of trust PP has of her. What brings about such connection that PP listens to her and give support. Is it purely business or something more that mortals like us will never know?

On the other hand, looks like CA will do everything at all cost, endure the negative judgment being hurled at her. She is prepared and would much prefer all that than be networkless for life. The ball is now in her court to prove herself. Hopefully, her efforts will not be clouded in suspicion.

Missing the Connection

For everything that was said and written about it, when love hits, it can unwittingly but capably wreak havoc on any relationship – family, friends, lovers, co-workers and everything in between. Nothing and no one will be spared.

The controversy surrounding these characters has taken its toll on them. Generous friend GF and co-star CS have developed a certain closeness owing to their respective roles – both real and reel. They have grown to like each other and form some kind of alliance.

On the set of a show they’re currently doing, GF and CS were relaxing, talking animatedly during a break. The two were in a corner laughing, unmindful of everyone around them. But when another co-star AS passed by in front of them, they suddenly turned quiet.

Even in other engagements that call for the cast to be together, it would always be evident how AS seem to look like the different one. Both GF and CS would really make an effort to avoid being together and ‘breathing the same air’ with AS. Such an awkward and painful situation for AS - to be regarded as the unwelcome one - the odd one out.

Just so sad that it had to escalate to something as ugly as this.Gone were the days when they were just enjoying whatever was it in their carefree, young lives. But things happen, you'll never know what you're gonna get, so to speak.

At the onset of their feud, it was GF whom the public sympatised with. But as time went by, with too much of the stuff being said, it now appears that it is AS who has become the walking wounded in this game.

Up To No Good, As Always

This Budding Diva BD has always been consistent on her off-screen image. Ever since she hit stardom, that image never left, even clung to her even more. BD has been called names – the ugliest one could ever get. But just like the others in the business, she seems to have mastered the art of callousness – in layman’s lingo… “deadma.”

Wherever she goes, BD never fails to leave her signature imprint on people she is with. No matter how hard they try to understand her, BD never fails to irritate people -- or annoy them, to put it mildly. From camera angling during shoots, to choice of make-up artists and stylists, to demands for solo production numbers – BD has something to whine and rant about. As always, the littlest detail must be addressed to suit her preference – everything should enhance her image, so to speak.

At a recent photoshoot for a show she would be part of, BD was shocked to learn that her preferred make-up artist MUA was absent, hence production had fielded a replacement. For some stars, that would not be a big deal and show must go on. But definitely not for BD, such was a nightmare – she needed only the expert hands to do her calling and hide her imperfections. She is known to be a stickler to her own rules, no ifs and buts.

When the production could not produce the MUA who was absent to be at the wake of a family member, and that an equally popular MUA would substitute for her, BD was adamant. She refused to do the shoot. When told that it would be impossible to call on the first MUA to attend to her because MUA could not afford to leave the wake for work, BD then replied in a funny way but with full conviction, “ Then I will resume shoot after the dead is buried!”

To Love and To Learn

A beautiful friendship bloomed between two of its main stars on the set of their former teleserye. They enjoyed each other’s company so much so that even after the serye ended, actress and endorser AE and multi-awarded actress MA still continue to see each other regularly and bond like sisters.

AE and MA are both beautiful and sought-after actresses, and even then, there is no room for envy between them. Apart from being in-demand stars, both are magnets for controversies inspite of their quiet demeanor. But they don’t mind, what’s important is their friendship and the many things they have in common.

Allegedly, one of those they have is the love of the ‘stuff.’ Then and now, this is nothing new to showbiz. Others justify using it because of the very stressful work coupled with so many personal issues that can take its toll on their performance. Hence they take to the stuff to make them ‘sane’ – what an irony!

In a show that they do together, the production scheduled a technical rehearsal for the performers. Most stars did their part and came on time. However they were pissed and waited too long for AE and MA who came in several hours late. When they finally came, it was obvious that they had a hit. As a result, AE and MA were acting strange and could not deliver.

But between the two, it was alleged that it was AE who was obviously more ‘loaded.’ Even days before the said rehearsal, some insiders already took notice that she was not herself most of the time. There are allegations that she is having episodes of ‘depression’ – something that was not impossible given the heavy issues that AE has to deal with in her personal life. The question is: Is she or isn't she?
