Flowing By The Sunset

Just as controversial actress CA's life got magnified and talked about online for several months, the tenor has now suddenly shifted to mute -- so intriguingly quiet. Yes, the deafening silence has been keeping insiders busy speculating.
CA has been besieged with problems of volcanic proportions for many months now - with career and family weighing most heavily on her shoulders. According to the grapevine, all is not well in the homefront of this once iconic actress. CA's marital bliss had been less than blessed for some time. A family member is getting unfavorable treatment. Her own career has hit rock bottom, the lowest it had ever been.
For all the bumps that her career is going through, CA is not used to being treated shabbily by anyone, let alone by her bosses NB. Heard that NB had given CA a dressing down - a mouthful for the fate that befell her project PR that the company CO had heavily invested on. The very dismal showing of PR that ran for many months cost a hefty fortune for the CO. NB felt that CA had huge shortcomings why PR suffered the way it did. Allegedly, CA reneged on her responsibility and did not abide by the provisions of her contract - she should have raised the bar higher - but did not. She was flatly told, " You failed us big time."
Strong words, big blow to her even bigger ego.
For such a major neglect on her part, CA did not even try to make amends. What made matters worse was that she was not at all apologetic -- something that turned off NB completely. Those in the know concluded that CA is still in big denial about her real status in the business, and that's not hard to fathom given her once unique position in the industry.
Now there are whispers going around that CA has been sending feelers to FA "former allies." But this we learned -- true or not -- no one from FA is willing to bite.

You Believe They Might Be Dating?

After a few highly publicized dates and relationships between them, is powerful personality (PP) dating model actress (MA) now? While PP is getting left and right criticisms from his critics, shifting the news to his personal matters might improve his image at the moment, according to rumors.
MA and PP have no commitment as far as the public knows. Although they have been linked to other parties over the past few months, nothing has really been tagged as serious relationships. It seems that PP is enjoying the perks of being single, and MA has the freedom to do whatever she wants in her career and love life. Both would look good together, and MA can hopefully match wits with PP.
As political events seem to be a preoccupation these days, every move of a politician is closely watched as actions and comments can make or break votes. Perhaps, news of MA and PP dating could increase the positive aura of both parties. The other side of this news is that the public will have something else as the target of its attention. .

Presumptuous Comment of the Actor

The phrase, prima donna, refers to “a very temperamental person with an inflated view of their own talent or importance.” In local showbiz, the term crosses genders and could refer to actors as well. Thus, no other phrase aptly describes the attitude this lead actor (LA) showed during a shooting.
During the shooting of a movie with an award winning director (AD), LA approached him, and said nonchalantly, “Direk, will our movie earn? It does not look promising.” Upon hearing the comment of LA, AD felt insulted because it was as if LA did not know he was talking to one of the pillars of the local movies. AD rose from the ranks and made his way to becoming a box-office director with his dramatic movies. What was more infuriating was that LA had the guts to tell that to AD as he himself has yet to prove his box office draw. Becoming a household name becasue of one teleserye is nothing compared even to the individual achievements of the two actresses (A1 and A2) working with him in the movie.
Incidentally, at one point, LA, A1, A2, and AD all worked for one network. While A1 and A2 got breaks, LA was always among the supporting cast until he moved to his new network. As for A1 and A2, their careers are as colorful as the controversies of their personal lives. AD has moved to another network, and has directed some of the best movies and teleseryes in most of the movie outfits and major networks, respectively.
Is LA already drowning in a glass of water? As rumors have it, LA seems to be enjoying the perks of being the current apple of the eye of a top network executive these days. However, favoritism can be fickle, and if LA does not closely watch out, he might be replaced. Perhaps, LA should be more humble and respectful of his fellow showbiz workers. After all, those who have lasted long in the business are the actors who sowed humility and respect towards people in the industry regardless of their status. Thus, no matter how many intrigues have come their way, these actors still have projects, loyal fans, and respect.
