So far, this blog has reached over 17M page views, more than six hundred blog entries, thousands of comments, and uncountable moments of entertainment for the dear readers.

Maintaining a blog like FashionPULIS.com is not an individual effort. Do allow me to express my thanks to:

Narcissistic Singer-Actress

The singer-actress has one of the prettiest faces in the entertainment industry. She has been featured in magazines and has numerous endorsements. Although, she has lived in front of the camera most of her life, she still manages to stir the interest of viewers every time she guests in talk and variety shows.

While preparing for these shows, the singer-actress is very conscious of the people with her in the dressing room. She looks at their things and abhors the fact if they use items similar to what she owns. For example, when she saw a fellow performer using a lipstick that she also used, the singer-actress insisted on giving the performer a different brand of lipstick. The singer-actress wants to be the only person using such a brand; hence, she will do anything to make sure her things are unique.

Is this behavior leading to a narcissistic personality disorder? According to www.psychology.about.com, people with narcissistic personality disorder are “self-centered because they imagine they are superior to others and often insist on possessing items that reflect a successful lifestyle… In addition, they are also preoccupied with fantasies on unlimited success, power, intelligence, beauty, or love.”

Circumvent the Aerobics

While it seems its first season finished without much trouble, a controversy is brewing in the rumor mill. As the contestants did their crunches and curbed their cravings, another competition was happening right in front of them. It was the contest of who was the better motivator of the teams. Of course, the team that won the challenges showed that it had the superior trainer. Reestablishing one as an effective fitness trainer can earn more than expected. Endorsements will increase and so will clients.

One of the trainers did not take this competition lightly and gave a lot of diva attitude for the win. The contestants felt it but they has no choice but to follow and live with the harsh training and tough stance shown to them by the trainer. As viewers wondered how fast weight was lost in a short time, allegations are floating that medicines were used in the contest.

Did the trainer have a hand in this? If the trainer indeed knew about this, why was there no objection? Is this how far one would go just to rebuild one’s image as a fitness guru?

Rudeness at the Wedding

Controversial personality (CP) volunteered to host the wedding of a friend. The guests were aghast at the coarseness of CP, who forced them to laugh at his jokes punctuated with statements that he was hosting for free. The guests were annoyed as they noticed that CP was drinking while conducting the program.

As the affair was about to end, CP asked the married couple for a message. As they were about to say their message, CP grabbed the microphone and gave his own lengthy thank you speech. The couple was very embarrassed as CP made them look like fools at their own special affair and in front of their relatives and guests.

Trouble in Fantasyland

The successful venture of the three movie outfits squashed all competitors, making the producers ecstatic over the box-office results. Their partnership enlivened the dying movie industry and moviegoers looked forward to another venture of the three. However, the co-production may not happen ever again.

Designer L filed a case on the violation of his intellectual property rights against the producers of the movie. The case stems from the use of the design of L in the costume of the villain in the final scene. In the movie credits, the name of Designer L appeared, which seems to imply that he allowed the use of his design. However, this is not the truth! Designer L never gave his consent for the use of his design in the movie. The question is whether any production person even approached him at all to ask permission.

One of the smaller movie outfits quickly washed its hands of any involvement in the case and immediately pointed to the stellar movie outfit as responsible for the production. Soon, the smaller movie outfit will attempt to clear its name of any involvement in the said case. The stellar movie outfit has yet to issue a statement on this matter.

While everyone thought all is well in the land of enormous profits, this situation merely reflects that all successful ventures will vanish into fantasy with a lawsuit involving millions.

When she transferred stations, award-winning actress (AA) received her share of negative comments and her former mentor gave her the cold shoulder treatment. The new station gave AA shows but all fell short of expectations. Advertisers did not come as expected and the station experienced losses on her projects. Still, the station had a heart and gave her the exposure. Besides, a relation of hers was very close to the management.

As months went by, AA had not yet returned to her top physical form, which could be why some people lost interest in her. Worse, stories leaked out as to why there were long gaps in between her projects. The production staff complained that AA was difficult to work with given her diva attitude. For example, AA demanded her own air-conditioned tent and refused to tape when it rains. The last project AA had was a well thought out and expensive series but it abruptly ended when AA had a meltdown that was captured on TV. Her co-stars and the production staff were very disappointed at that development as they lost work during yuletide.

Now, the management is letting AA go through her contract via live appearances in road shows and cameo roles in teleseryes. Feeling the station might not renew her contract, AA has sent feelers through her manager for a new home station. The head honcho of her former station flatly turned down the idea, whereas the other station is still ambivalent. Fans are in a quandary as to when and where AA will ever have a successful comeback.

Midlife Crisis

This actress is living her midlife in crisis. Although movie outfits, the showbiz press, and her aging fans always welcome her rare appearances, she has no solid career as of today. In the past, she had awards, love, endorsements, TV shows, and hit movies. When she succumbed to the pressure of losing people very dear to her, she withdrew from the crowd and her career slowly slipped away.

Now, her financial woes are piling up as her flat is still in the market. Its asking price is quite high that buyers are not biting the offer. Unless, she raises the money, her future will say goodbye to the flat as the one to whom it was pawned wants her to leave immediately. The actress has yet to pay at least a single monthly interest.

Answers to queries as to what she does with the money point to her habit. Past rumors said she was on the snorting side, whereas present stories have it that she is heavily into cocktails. If she does not change her ways, then she will definitely be another wasted actress in the future.
