Beleaguered Talent (BT) seems to be facing a solid brick wall these days, but still she perseveres to find that crack that would, at the very least, weaken the wall even for just a small moment. BT is in the midst of planning a big event and the people she wants to be with her are cold and unresponsive in the way she is expecting.
Apparently, BT wants her event done early in the year, but Uncooperative Party (UP) feels the time is too soon. Papers for the alleged transfer of BT’s assets, such as property titles and bank accounts, to UP will not be done, as the latter claims. Moreover, UP insists that a document saying that Future Husband (FH) will not get any or BT’s wealth in case they separate. BT, however, does not want a prenup.
As FH’s family wants a ceremony done where they have their ancestral roots, UP thumbed down the idea. FH’s family said that they want the privacy and avoid the chaos of a local staging, as BT is a high-valued celebrity. In addition, the location has a romantic ambiance that fits BT and FH. Adamantly, UP claims that the trip would be a waste of money. Her argument was countered when FH’s family said UP and her party will not spend anything at all. To prolong the event’s date, UP said she’ll think about it.
Then, UP is meddling in the list of sponsors and wants some names removed for being controversial. Even the motif has become an issue for UP. BT is already frustrated and irritated at UP. The good person that she is, BT has been patient in trying to compromise, as she does not want UP and the rest to snub her event. They have threatened to boycott before. Still, BT has refused to remove UP from the event, as such would not look good on her part.
These days, BT has been working very hard to solve her problems with UP, who is nonchalant toward an important event for BT. Kibitzers believe that UP is merely employing tactics to stop the event from ever happening despite BT’s efforts to please her camp.
