Delighting in Jubilee

Looks like happy days are back for actor Lover Boy (LB), as he has found his latest benefactor. Among the loud whisper of walls, LB has been relying on rich patrons to sustain his lifestyle. As an actor’s life experiences ups and downs, when LB was at his declining moment, he was unable to rise again to the level that he enjoyed most. Thus, his career never recovered and projects never came.

One time, LB was a guest in a program and Influential Patron (IP) was present as well. Before going on stage, LB and the rest of the guests were in a room for briefing and snacks. The time was used for bonding as well to avoid awkwardness when they face the audience. IP apparently had a love at first sight at seeing LB, which is not surprising. LB is good-looking and knows how to handle himself. IP could not contain his thoughts and would hint at it even though LB was visible right in front of him and the others.

LB just smiled and seemed to like the attention being given by IP. It’s been a while since his last wealthy lover dumped him. His overseas benefactor lover let him go as soon as his cheating was confirmed. Thus, with no projects, LB could not move as much as he wanted.

After the show, IP invited LB to join him in his car. Days later, the same set of guests had to return to the show. Observers were surprised to see LB wearing a nice signature suit and sporting a very expensive watch, which they have not seen him wear before. Minds started to think and piece bits and pieces together. IP is known to be generous and allegedly has had lovers from the entertainment industry, but all were kept inconspicuously for the sake of the career of those personalities.

Lately, LB has been seen frequenting the mansion of IP and speculations are loud that he seems to be living there already. Every morning, IP would have that silly grin on his face. As his home is huge, hardly would LB step out of the room and food is just brought by helpers. However, IP has strict instructions on entertaining LB. No one is allowed to have photos with him and even talk to him. They will remain blind, deaf, and mute over what they see in the mansion.

When LB comes home, he has several shopping bags filled with grocery items and other things. As the story reached kibitzers, they all agreed that LB hit the jackpot this time. IP is far richer than his former lovers and if IP continues to like him, LB will be living like a prince.
